Railfanning the INSANE City Traffic + SRY & VIA Rail in Vancouver, BC!

- I could not have taken a more LUCKY railfan trip, and managed to film SRY, CN, CP, and a very unexpected VIA Rail catch! Just touring around eastern Vancouver and into Burnaby and Surrey, already gave me a glimpse of two busy rail yards in this area and some of the busy traffic that goes in and out of them! So I definitely recommend you guys to go check out the spots in this video, and film these movements for yourselves...
At 19:26, I made an error. It should be to go back to 6:15 for the screenshot of the 4-track crossing location on Google Maps!
15:37 yes it does, it travels on CN lines, it crosses the New Westminster bridge and follows the Fraser up to Thornton yard (here) continuing east. The CP train was waiting here likely for the Via train as it is heading for the Vancouver north shore as that is CN trackage. If I remember correctly, CN and CP have a deal where everything to Roberts Bank and the south shore is handled by CP and everything to the north shore and south Fraser is handled by CN.
Thats where I work! I also thought the 129 was a GP9

Just so you know i think the NS locomotives were actually SRY locomotives, just to inform you🙂
Awesome catches! I love the variety! 18:20 the back of that unit is completely blackened, must have worked in coal service. CP really doesn't like washing their engines!

Your camera work leaves much to be desired. Slow down your panning shots. Jerking the camera from side-to-side, does very little to retain the attention of the viewer.
