Got your video! Fantastic job. It's fun to ride the local rails I've seen so much of trackside growing up and then working on the waterfront, but never had a chance to see it from the cab. Looking forward to more!

CN still uses it to switch places along the line, and the West Coast Express takes trains to VIA for maintenance occasionally
I'm not too sure... however I know they took parts off the Vancouver slip for the Annacis slip. So if they ever wanted to use the slip in Vancouver again they would have to put a lot of work into it. I would be surprised if the slip ever sees service again.
I saw BNSF loading that barg back in 2005 from one of CN waterfronts yard jobs, not sure what had happened but they were dealing with a heck of a list on the barg.

It's a shame that the slip might never see service again. What's going to happen to the track that goes down to VIA/CN yards by the Via station from the barge slip ?

SRY didn't go out of business, they are a major player in local switching operations in the BC lower mainland. They are part of Washington Corporation (Missoula MT) Originally B.C.Hydro Railway.
