    6 months of constant pain to the point that picking up a glass of water at arms length was excruciatingly painful.
    2 weeks of doing every detailed in this video and the pain is dramatically reduced to the point I’m not even sure if it’s still there! Remarkable! Thank you!

      @@bhumikshah6976 better but not from using this method. I might make a video explaining what has worked for me. But in a nutshell it was altering my lifestyle. Using voice to text as much as possible. Lots of rest and Light massage. Then after a couple months of rest I started lifting weights but not the dumbbells for the hands. Mostly shoulder and triceps. Doing wrist curls made it worse.

    I followed Jamie's instructions completely. I had tennis elbow in lead (left arm) from golf. I've had it for 2 years. Saw two orthopedic surgeons and went through PT and home stretches with little improvement. With this technique using roller bar and flexbar (red then green) saw improvement within a few days and after 6 weeks NO PAIN. So happy I came across this video.

    When I first saw this video I thought it was a classic infomercial attempting to sell a gimmick to desperate people. A week later, I was desperate enough to buy in and get one. I am so glad that I did. After working out the trigger points (muscle knots) in my tennis elbow with a foam roller and completely resting for 2 weeks with occasional ibuprofen, subsequent frequent workouts with the Therabar have now saved me from tennis elbow. I am a true believer. Thank you.

    I suffered elbow/ tricep tendonitis, golfers elbow, tennis elbow in the space of 2 years and spent a fortune on physiotherapy, ultrasound, acupuncture, stretching exercises, massage therapy, which was all commendable and gave temporary relief but never got to the root of the problem, until I was fortunate enough to meet a very clever pilates instructor who was also an osteopath, and he told me that all elbow problems originate in the neck and upper back and not just muscle imbalances in the arms, just 2 weeks of neck and shoulder mobility exercises got rid of my elbow pain forever. I recommend to anybody with elbow problems to seek work on their necks and upper backs using massage therapy, the tightness on these areas are finding weak points to radiate pain, such as the elbows.

    • @gastondeveaux3783
      @gastondeveaux3783 9 років тому +2

      Anyone who generalizes by saying, :"...all elbow problems originate in the neck and upper back" shouldn't be allowed to legally take money from people who have health issues. They can originate in the neck and back area, but not always, not even close. Absolute nonsense. It may have worked in your case, but every situation should be evaluated on a case by case basis.

    • @pauly71
      @pauly71 9 років тому +4

      Calm down Mr Keyboard Warrior Gaston, I'm just expressing a personal opinion from personal experience after spending a lot of money on physiotherapy and acupuncture treatments, working on muscle imbalances with eccentric exercises, which did absolutely nothing for my elbow problems. I wasn't clear in what I said actually, the osteopath whom I attended said that he personally had never come across an elbow issue which didn't originate from the upper back and neck, again, it was his personal opinion which he is entitled to and I believed him as it clearly worked for me and I'm just trying to help others in looking further to just doing forearm exercises.

She was wearing a band around the area for pain. The doc had prescribed the usual medicine, creams and things. I told her to get rid of all of that, just watch the video and do the exercises. It has worked. Thank you soooo much. She feels sooo good that she stopped doing the exercises but I told her to carry on as all it takes is 5 minutes tops. Anyways, thank you so much again. Jamie, thanks so much for this video. You were absolutely right - within a week I could feel a huge difference, and now 4 weeks later I'm well on the way to a full recovery. The cost of the FlexBar and stick together was less than one appointment with a physio, so I'm very happy!

    @Jamie: Got my resistance bars Saturday and can honestly already feel a slight improvement. (maybe 10-15%) Thank you! Couple questions...
    1. Should I also continue taking anti inflammatory meds?
    2. What about icing?
    3. Should there be rest days from doing these exercises?
    4. What about day to day activities... should I try to limit the use of the affected elbow or just use it like normal and fight through the discomfort?
    5. Should I wear a tennis elbow brace at any point during the day?

    Hope I can add to the conversation here! From what I'm finding clinically, the onset of tennis elbow has much to do with subtle *neck dysfunction* . There are still clearly some elbow-specific issues that need to be addressed, but the neck may hold the key to understanding why the elbow becomes an issue in the first place. If anyone's interested, I have put together a simple video for my patients explaining the link and some basic exercises to address! Hope it helps! ua-cam.com/video/b2D3-IVAz-o/v-deo.html

      Hi,question for you(as I have it on both elbows):did you do first one arm,then the other? I am just wondering if it would have a negative affect if both elbows are with tendonitis. Thank you!

    Thank you Jamie! I triggered my T.E. by falling asleep in a recliner with my arm stretched out, palm up. So everything you said makes sense to me. I have been avoiding stretching it and doing soft tissue work and gotten some improvement. But I just imitated a little bit of your strength training exercises with isometrics and it feels better immediately! How cool is that?! I'm going to order up the therapy aids you recommended to us right away. Thank you so very much for helping us!

    Hey Jamie, Nice to see your video. I'am suffering from Tennis Elbow for more than 4 months from now. I play Shuttle Badminton. Will try the exercise and update you on the results

    You’re the man! I’ve been in so much pain in both arms since starting jiu jitsu that I was losing full nights of sleep for months. The pain was also affecting me heavily in the gym. I did this workout for around a week and a half and I’m practically cured. I’ve gotten so much stronger and I was down in the dumps over my loss of gains recently. I hope great things come your way. I can’t thank you enough.

    Can confirm, feels much better after the only first use, starting out with the weaker bar. This is what many overlook when recommending the flex bars, that you should start off with something really easy as you have explained in this video. Thank you very much for the excellent video, even though it's been 7 years. Cheers.

    Thank you Jamie for this fantastic video. I bought both of the devices and followed your advice and I'm happy to say him back at CrossFit after one week. No doctors appointment, no specialist and more importantly no magic medical bills that suddenly appear in the mail ...you're a rock star!!

    Hi Jamie! Thx so much for sharing your knowledge! I was so excited to find your video as this pain has increased...I ordered my Theraband Flexbar today, but I also used a towel to use that wringing or twisting motion and man I could feel all those muscles working and they hurt, so I can imagine how the Flexbar will feel! Thx again!

    Thrilled with my progress in using a Blue Theraband for 9 days. I play pickleball and found the Tennis Elbow exercises helped a great deal right away and today I added your Golfer's Elbow exercises and they are useful too. Twisting the Blue Band is easier when you twist from the edges rather than having the hands closer together.

    thx the demonstration was great. I have had elbow + golfer tendinitis for 2-3 years now, I have been doing eccentric dumbell curls for them last couple of weeks and now I have invested into this thera band. I hope after a couple of months my elbows will be healed 100%

    Jamie Dreyer's explanation in this video was great. I used the stick and the various theraband flexbars and there was immediate relief. After doing the exercises for a few months (trailing off), I fully recovered from my tennis elbow symptoms. AMAZING, and THANK YOU, Jamie !
