- A Few Old Tunes - A13 (Mansel)
"Mansel", taken from the 2014 remaster of A Few Old Tunes provided by Doors of Perception.
Despite controversy surrounding the authenticity of the source for this remaster, there's no doubt it sounds clearer and of higher quality than the original.
Mansel has been isolated from the previous track, "Devil", and the next track "She Is P".
I know it's nobody's buisness, but I keep coming back to this song for few years now. It feels like calm grandness if that makes sense.
If they care not they dont have to read. Why so cutting? You have a soul to think, and fingers to type. They should not affect you
Nobody's business? You put it out there 😅
very dark atmosphere, much like a dark silent forest walk.
admiring the forest moon
One of their best tracks
yeah
masterpiece
underrated. i love this track
Those notes hit just right!
Like looking out over a dark lake, at distant pine trees silhouetted against the last light of the setting summer sun. In a distant northern wilderness.
Probably their most underrated track imo
Always got a King's Field vibe from this one

1st time here
Kinda reminds me of the music in pocket tanks
This Could be Caleed Hi Scoss...
is this Geiser? The drums are gritty and badass enough to fit in Hooper Bay in my opinion.
So many comments with comparisons. Please keep your preconceived ideas to yourself.
Shut up

@xerneasrising2412 🫵 😂look at this crybaby who fingerwags over youtube comments on a boards of canada video. What lead you to believe that anybody would take your comment seriously?
You're not important lmao
Starting from 3:09 the drums seems to be like an early Telephasic Workshop drum pattern
More like a different version of the pattern in Finity
Reminds me of Z-Twig by Aphex Twin, such an underrated Boc track...
You can really hear their use of hardware samplers here.. the percussion for the first half is just two elements, a hihat and a drum that’s alternating between its regular sound and having a low pass filter applied
what's the song/ video with mountain in the title? blue mountain... devil's mountain.... can't remember... can't find it... clips from some old 70s movie
I remembered last week... Holy Mountain, but either way, the clip has vanished...
excellent
Clint Mansell?
