As transportation, which is part of the point of electric scooter riding, I ride year round in NY.

What about a full charge? Would that be an issue?

I have a garage... but temperatures can go down to -30c - is this going to be an issue?

My phantom v3 is fully charged at 100% but disconnected for winter. What can i do in order to bring it down to 85% ? I dont want to make the tires spin on a bench because that would increase odometer for nothing. I dont want to take it outside for a spin either. I tried leaving the light on but it shuts down after 30 mins. After 10 times it did not even get to 99%.

Take it for a 10-20 minute ride outside. It’s the only way

Take off the deck, remove the green tape around the battery and cut off 15% of the wires if you want to reduce it from 100% to 85%

And you pneumatic tire users should be careful in the spring on roadways. While eager to ride early, the streets are often not swept until well after the snow clears. This leaves a lot of debris on the sides of the road where you typically ride. Flat tires are no fun way to start the season.

So people don't ride in the winter? I'm debating purchasing the winter tires for my phantom v3 😆

Probably in area with a lot of snow makes it difficult to ride. Where I am currently located, it doesn't snow often so I just ride like usual. However, I try to avoid riding when it goes below freezing temp.

Some people do. It all depends. Nowhere was it said nor implied that one cannot ride in the winter. I rode mine occasionally last winter.

This may shock you, but California is not the entire world. 🤯

Yea, but California will find some way to make you tax and license it soon. It's all about the money. Go ahead and laugh your ass off and kick Gavin Newsom in the nuts.
