I was thinking about what to major in and thought about information technology. This video really helped because it gave me realistic expectations compared to other videos I watched where the person just says "It's a good major."
Well i have a question sir, My friends always say that to be good at IT, you must have good scores in Mathematics, is that true? Is this just a myth or a truth?
I have actually recently finished all my mathematics courses for my IT degree. As said before it's not a degree that heavily relies on math. Personally my school had me go as far as Calculus and ventured into statistics. Calculus was surprisingly easy considering I've struggled with math all my life. Statistics was also manageable but I did find the subject very dull.

It's a great way to go if it suites you, whatever you decide keep working hard.

kind of true. I had to do up to calc 2.

I do have good scores in mathematics. However IT has less Mathematics than some other tech degrees. If you can make it through you can pass.
