I give total respect to Kurupt. One: for even answering questions that are actually “out of context” because the interviewer only exists because you existed first and opened doors and created jobs that did not ever exist for Black artists Pre-Deathrow. Kurupt, Snoop, Pac, Dre, Eazy, all scaled a 100’, 90 degree perimeter ghetto prison-wall guarded by federal state and local terminators. And after doing so much more than just surviving but actually altering the earth on its axis and then to have the kids they raised on the other side are asking, “how come you didn’t do it with less effort?” “How come you didn’t climb out of a system meant to consume or exterminate you with all of your mind and money?”

Let's just be honest about this, Snoop and Tupac were never close. Just think about it, on a two CD album, Tupac had one song with Snoop on 'All Eyez on me', that's by itself is an indicator to show you they were never close, neither as friends or even as artists working together. Snoop was still signed to death row when Tupac recorded Makaveli and he is not on one song. Snoop has always played all fields and he was never loyal to anyone and even though he talks about how he was always cool with biggie, go search the song he made dissing biggie and telling him 'you're fat you're black and you got one dead eye'. Then he goes on the radio and says he is not taking any sides during the war, after Pac gets killed, not even 8 months go by, Snoop with Diddy on the Steve Harvey show making up. He is not somebody that has ever been loyal and he doesn't know what loyalty is. I don't take away from his music because he does have a very unique flow and he has made amazing hits for the West Coast, but let's stop this fake 'Tupac used to be my closest homie and I held his hand in the hospital'. The only people that were with Tupac all the time when he was alive were Suge, the Outlaws, and Kadida, everyone else is just completely lying about the stories they say.
I agree to an extent, Snoop Dogg flip flops and tries to get in where he fits in. He’ll pat you in the back, while also spitting in your face. He plays both sides. And Afeni herself said Snoop was there at the hospital along with the Outlawz etc. They said he wasn’t handling it well. Looking like he wanted to faint n 💩. And other than 2 of Americas most wanted on All Eyez on me, Their were other tracks they collaborated on. 2 of America's Most Wanted, Life's So Hard, If there's a Cure for This, Street Life and Wanted Dead or Alive. And i could of sworn years ago, Snoop Dogg, I believe said he had an unreleased cd worth of them 2 collaborating. I’m hoping I’m right about that🤞🏽
@ERiseCali I understand what you are saying, but 'if there is a Cure for this' was a freestyle. I am talking about actual song collaboration. Tupac recorded All Eyez Me and Makaveli on Death Row. Total of 14 songs Disk 1(All Eyez), 13 songs Disc 2(All Eyez), and 12 songs on Makaveli. That's a total 39 Released tracks and he has 1 or 2 with the biggest-selling Death Row artists of that time (Snoop). Basically the total is the same as how many songs Pac had with Rappin 4 Tay. I am not saying Snoop ain't a good artist, I like his music and he is a Cali legend, I just wish you would be more honest about the lack of closeness he had with Tupac. Just as an example, when Bushwick Bill passed away, a member of the Ghetto Boys didn't attend the funeral, because he said that they weren't like that in real life and I respect him for talking like that. Orlando killed Pac, Orlando was South Side Crip, Puffy was very close with them, just out of respect to Pac, Snoop should have not done that Steve Harvey appearance with Puff after Pac died.

Krupt that was the truth. The principle is not the same as a Black Panther and any street organization. Total different philosophies! Real talk.
Every one warned pac but he thought he knew better than everyone else
Art should've asked kurupt about Keith Murray 😂🤣
If you watch that movie cities of lies, they do mention dj quik and kurupt where there that night Biggie was killed. What was Kurupt doing with Dj quik if they both from different gangs?
They had DR ties. They are both LA rappers. That's a small circle. They were all cliqued up back then
They're friends man and both at DeathRow
If they cliqued up like that kurupt could gives us a mote understanding why quiks entourage was throw gang signs at Biggie at a industry party
There gangs never had beef. There not from the same city
@@nahmirani4348 listen you East Coast diik rider , 2Pac had been killed less than 6 months and these fools were in LA partying like it's new year's eve 1999 , they're lucky they didn't get popped the moment their planes landed at LAX .

🧢
2pac was looking for guidance and to fit in. We looked up to him as kids, but now as an adult I see he wasn't anything to celebrate. He was insecure af, and being raised by his single mother was his ultimate demise. The sad story of most young brothas.
You sound goofy af! Pac was human, but to say he wasn't anything to celebrate is proof enough that you don't know very much about what he left in this world... all at the age of 25! He was still growing. That's the real tragedy of it all.
completely agreed. if he lived long enough, he may have grown wiser as he was trying to improve. his charisma hid the insecurities and flaws.
He said as much in the interview that if he had a father around he would've been different.
Tupac had a genfle heart, and yes thats why you SHOULD look up to him. Looking up at those with the biggest balls - youre a fool
I don't think anyone else talk's with such swagger and coolness.
Maybe dolomite
Kurupt = Real
How can you not get caught up when you hanging wit bloods and crips... really only a matter of time..
For real, thanks for the common sense! They were kids with a ton cash and that's that.
Wow listen how Kurupt changed his whole narrative when Art mentioned to him that 2pac lived in Cali before Deathrow. All of a sudden Pac went from getting advise from Snoopy and Daz to being out there since the early 90s riots, fighting rolling 60s etc😅Rappers memories only remember their lyrics😂😂😂
From the comments I think you and I are the only ones tht noticed. It shows how people really don’t listen
I noticed!!!😂😂😂
Kurupt just clucking for his crack money
He lived in Oakland not LA. Two different worlds.

Keefe D funny as hell, but dude is cap
If you read the original thug life code written with mutulu, they wanted to unify and militarise the gangs so kurupt is missing that angle
I remember that day. Me and Eddie was in Ben Frank's restaurant on the Strip. SWAT team came.
Tupac got set up by reggie wright

75% of his life? He moved to Cali at 16 and died at 25.
Kurupt moved to LA at 17. Pac been in and out of LA his entire life. Way before death row
@@slip-n-rollboxing1826 PAC moved to Marin City in the bay at 16 in 1988 and lived there for 4 years. This is when he was a backup dancer for digital underground. He was also in NY frequently, filming Juice and Above the Rim in his early 20’s. So he only lived in LA for a few years in his deathrow days.

In other words 2pac played his self he was really a New York dude got too involved in LA and that was his demise and that is my favorite rapper but that’s the truth
Nah Suge bailed him outta jail when nighaz fronted... Signed death row n this the MOB?.. im Frontline ..
If only Pac stayed out of the woo wop. He might still be here today.
Whoa🚨🙏🏾
Once he went to prison.. that was the beginning of the end for Tupac. The music got better, but that was the start of his demise
Karrupt still the man he should drop a album to show the new how it’s done
@@youngtupac1971 I told you many times, that was not Pac in your bed, it was your Daddy. Let it go man
I agree to an extent, Snoop Dogg flip flops and tries to get in where he fits in. I’m hoping I’m right about that🤞🏽
@@Imadethistocomment13 you have a Diddy poster Bove the headboard u and pac knockk every night 🤣🌈💯
@@jusosickalot of questions unanswered??? First of all have they ever been asked those questions ever before? Wouldn’t you have to ask those questions to get answers? Secondly, do you think he owes you any answers from events that happened 28 years ago?
