Tupac not only made music but made sense, loved women but also loved people and was for the people, and what I mean by that he talked for us the ones from low income , the ones who grew up in the projects and who knew and saw violence in the home and out the home , he was our voice , and I know if he was here today he’d be making changes ❤❤RIP Tupac , NO ONE like him 🙏

There really needs to be a real well independently done, crowd funded Tupac epic. From about 1989 to 1995...you could literally make a full length movie about each of those years separately. That's how much Tupac was moving around and how much was going on during that legendary span.

I met Gipp at a bar in midtown Atlanta. He was just with his close friends and nobody really knew who he was. I grew up to Goodie and OutKast. Gipp was my favorite rapper from Goodie. My wife was like you need to go up to him respectfully and ask for a picture. I didn’t want to be rude so I waited for the right time and just went up and told him how much of an inspiration he was to me growing up. I told him I was a 12 year old Asian kid bumping all his songs. He was the most down to earth guy as expected. God works his ways and sends spiritual connections throughout life. Really grateful to have met Gipp.

He recorded 713 songs in 5 years, that’s more than most rappers entire careers. His songs contained lyrics that talked about any subject matter of what was going on in his life of what he saw everyday. 2Pac was a poet. He wrote about life, in particular the Black experience in America. That is why he had more than one message. This is why his poetry is studied in universities. Women love poets. The medium he chose to express his poetry was HIP HOP. Like James Brown he understood that certain rhythms with your music can elevate your message to a higher spiritual level. If you can move to the music, you will get caught up in the message. But you have to have something REAL to say. You must move past shinny trinkets, toys, and other gimmicks.

The boastfulness and brashness . But without pac I may not have been introduced to the black panthers in a manner where their struggle mirrored my own.
