Props to you at 2:35 on seeing that little bite. I immediately screamed set! And that you did lol. Gotta love those love taps and lite biters. Nice video!!!
Great catches! Beautiful steelhead! And... it's also good to know the small mouths are chasing the bead! ++ Looking forward to more steelheads in summer! + Nice clothes + UPUPUP
Great vidya! The smallie was awesome. I have never fought one on a float rod but I bet it was awesome. Sadly we have had so much rain the river is blown out past flood stage. Sidewalks underwater!
It's been a nightmare season in N WI this year. Streams have not cleared and it keeps raining. Steelies will be back in the lake before long. Literally been 3 fishing days since the 3/30/19 opener. Sux bad. R
@@FishFray we will still try may be still some way upstream in N WI. The water is just now warming up. There was still frost a week ago at my buddy's place. We'll have to try. Thanks and happy fishing
Salmon, browns, brookies all bite on bobber rigs . Trick is getting a good quality bobber. It's my belief that the fish can see the bobber if it's too big.
Its hard not to get let down when what at times can be a good fish turns out to be nothing like the big one at the end of last season. 'Thumbs up; Looks Good'
guy s try using blue fox no 3 silver / fl pink / or combos five count down and slow retrieve even better tie a jumbo roe bag on use a good sinker 3 ft up and let it sway off the bottom this works !!
Epic fish handling skills! Holding them upside down by the tail doesnt ruin them. It merely enhances the look of the who cares jig that's in the dead fishes mouth. Well done as always guy. You absolutley do not come across as a young punk getting his first piece of ass. Not at all do you come across like this to seasoned chasers who been doing it decades. We dont make fun of guys with Collvile reels ever. Go figure you are from Ohio🤣
Nice smallie!!! Gosh I love me some small mouth fishing. I know you're a Steelhead guy, but I wouldn't be opposed to watching you land some river run smallies.
Only experience can tell the difference between a sea trout and the grown on stockies . Big gob, silverish and skinny is the usual description. "You caught one in the cold?" You should have a drink after.

Love to have you fishing our stuff Fray. Keep up the great videos. Colville Outfitters and Blood Run are lucky to have you!

Yup! Love it
@@FishFray sweeet, I got the Backdrop reel with seamstress back plate 👌
They're shutting down all the rivers one by one. Miss the sport.

@@FishFray What is a 10lb Red Horse? Is that like a chanook salmon or a monster pickeral?
Rick Russell floats are legit...no lathe and hand carved out of Mullen root!!!
Also that chartreuse bobber was me I think.
sure was!
@@FishFray yeh thx
Staying in TC?
Big Rapids
Those floats tho...wow😍
They are super nice!
Nice video, you should try to do a collaboration with Haight’s Wanderings while you are up in the UP.
We are planning to fish at least once later this summer
I like your new reel u didnt had at grand? But dont throw it on shore sand goes in and fuck shit up
Oh. Spring trout fishing is what you meant... no steelhead where you live lol.

They are the same species but their life cycle and behavior are very dicferent. The name "Steelhead" doesnt apply in the Midwest.
