Really nice video ! It's nice to finally hear someone who isn't trashtalking about the movie. I'm actually less afraid of this movie than the detective pikachu one to be honest, because I have a feeling (maybe wrong) that this sonic movie will keep a scenario closer to the game than the detective pikachu movie. But wait and see I guess
Thanks, I’m glad you enjoyed it! I always try to look for the positive, there’s enough people out there that have the negative side of things covered. I think there’s going to be elements of the movie that will be enjoyable and a nice nod to the games and the fans.
@@TheoryPop yep, I feel that too! I've never been a huge fan of sonic, but I think the Eggman looks promizing (i wanna get my PINGAS) and sonic might be still in-character, even if the design changed
I'm glad that he's getting redesigned. But I don't think that can save the movie. In my opinion, if Jim keeps up the good work, and sonic keeps that good ol, sonic personality, it good be good!
I’m glad they’ve delayed the release so the VFX team have more time and won’t have quite so much pressure or be forced to work in humane hours to complete the redesign work, but we’ll have to see what Sonic’s redesign looks like. They’ve teased he’ll at least have his gloves, so that’s a start!

I think there is promise. The design is pretty poor. Having said that I'm going to go see it out of curiousity more than anything else haha
I don’t think it’s going to be the worst film, I think there’ll be some perfectly decent parts. I just don’t expect it to be ‘good.’
