Huh, this was a question that didnt trully matter to me but the way you made the whole exposition of the subject is very good. Such a simple assumption and yet, you did your best unwrapping the whole possible-causes of this Amazing work my dude!!!
They are both great movies (despite what some people will tell you) but if you start to think about it there's just no logical way they could be in the same universe
Zootopia and Robin Hood existing in the same universe is something I can believe but I think Sing existing in the Zootopia universe is a bit of a stretch
I actually agree with this. I didn't notice the discrepancies that set them apart, but it's true. There are too many discrepancies that prove that they're both in different universes. I honestly feel like there could be a way that they could fit in the same universe, but they would have to be on different sides of the continent. Zootopia would have to be on one side where things are different than they are in the place that sing takes place. That would probably be the only way it does. Seem like Zootopia takes place in a more exotic part of the world where sing takes place in the United States it would seem
I wonder if the vehicles and animals and elements in the Cars, Sing, Zootopia and Kung Fu Panda and Elemental franchises are aware of the existence of the human world and if they have the technology to create the space-time portals needed to visit that world like the monsters in the Monsters’ Inc. franchise do, the sequels might answer that question. (The humans would not be bothered by but puzzled by the anthropomorphic animals, elements and vehicles if they ever did visit same for the living toys from the Toy Story franchise because they would see the vehicles and elements as funny and weird but cool and the animals as cute, innocent and adorable but the monsters as threatening and terrified if they fears of them despite also being innocent on the inside.)
You’re right that birds and reptiles don’t appear in the Zootopia movie, but the art book (well worth picking up!) has some extra details from the director, who claims birds and reptiles exist in the world, but are located on different continents!
@@TheoryPop there is now reptile but no birds or apes Fish and insects are now food in zootopia and no longer people for zootopia In sing 1 and 2 insects and fish are people and not food
It's still possible that sing falls into the same universe as zootopia, but just not in the same location as the major continent that zootopia is on. What if zootopia is the zootopia the animals want to go to, but other animals have to live in what would normally be human societies. So as a consequence all the things you see in zootopia don't apply to sing. Zootopia is just like environment that was purposely designed for animals that could afford to live there, like luxury housing for the rich. And everyone else you can't afford there, lives in cities that look like they were meant for humans. But if you take an account they're both sentient anamorphic animals that can talk and sing, then it's possible that they exist on the same planet. Maybe gazelle is from the sing portion, and moved or performs in zootopia.
I know it's a little late for my reply, but it wouldn't make sense that zootopia is only for richer people, because we see many animals there, wo don't seem like they have much money.
@@GeneralKenobi03 the post is a little old, I know. But why not try to connect two animated films into some type of continuity. They both have anamorphic animals. And they both live in human-like societies. Maybe it's like two different continents that sing and zootopia are on. Maybe it's not so much as wealthier animals live somewhere else, but maybe it's more like convenience. Maybe living in these large cities is just safer. And I could see Nick the fox and Judy Hopps, visiting the world or city in sing. And I can see the cast of seeing visiting zootopia.
I’m truly disappointed that chicken little isn’t in the same universe as zootopia. BUT it could still be in our universe since at the start of the movie some animals where watching Indiana Jones in the Cinema!
If they ever have Judy and Nick marry in Zootopia 2 and they have a child, I really hope they don't go the hybrid route. I want to see them adopt a reptile or avian child.

The Zooptoia, Sing, Rock Dog and Kung Fu Panda and Robin Hood franchises are actually all set in a shared universe and fictional world inhabited by anthropomorphic animals, with the Kung Fu Panda franchise being set in China in the Han Dynasty, Robin Hood taking place in England in the Middle Ages, the Zootopia, Sing and Rock Dog franchises are lastly set in the present day in Zootopia and BunnyBurrow in New Jersey 20 miles south of New York City (Zoo York City) and Catalonia and Redshore City in Southern California right outside of Los Angeles and San Diego and in two cities in the Hiamlyian mountains.
Zootopia universe: Only mammals, and they don't have shoes, only they always barefoot. Sing username: They have too much type of animals, such as mammals, birds, and reptiles, and they wearing footwear.
OBVIOUSLY NOT. In _Zootopia_ there are MAMMALS ONLY except primates, with everything else being normal. In _Sing_ is there literally anything that's normal?
The moment you show a gorilla and chip in the images from sing ultimately disproves this theory. According to the lore of zootopia, primates didn’t evolve. So there isn’t a single primate character in zootopia. Simply because they don’t exist.
there's another theory in zootopia that would make a lot more sense that humans and primates did exist but the animals rebelled against humanity and the only animals that sided with the humans were dogs, cats and primates which is why you don't see any of those in zootopia

I think chicken little might of shown an exctinction of fishes and devolution of mammals and zootopia takes place in a more far future. Unsure on lion king.
