    This video was so so helpful!! I’m late to the game, but I’m glad I found you! I caught a nasty cold in the midst of super dry weather, major temperature shift in the Midwest, and I was severely dehydrated because I was neglecting my health in order to study hard for an exam! Ended up with lip licker dermatitis around my lips along with the cold congestion and NOTHING was helping (cetaphil moisturizer, blister medicated ointment chapstick, etc). I recommend starting from a smaller amount of azelaic acid then slowly increase the quantity. Its such a great combination. I only do this 3 times a week and use other serum and sleeping mask to aid further hydrate and exfoliate the skin. I love how well you do these product reviews!! ♥️

      @@cristinitaandco I use the Aveeno Calm + restore triple oat serum it hydrates skin very well and affordable. I apply it then tap in to skin it absorbs quickly then I apply a moisturiser it can be any that your skin is happy with. And on days that I feel like my skin is on the dry side I apply this Aveeno serum, followed by day moisturiser with SPF in it gives a nice glow under foundation but also hydrates my skin and allows it to recover. sorry for late reply! I just saw your comment .

    • @a-7886
      @a-7886 Рік тому +7

      @@rennahalim5401 Sure, so azelaic acid gel at 15% is prescription only, so I bought mine of an online pharmacy ( I live in UK) when requesting the Azelaic acid gel I basically explained that I had used azelaic acid at 10% its from Paula’s choice which is pricy and my skin had built up tolerance, so I told them I will be using it for acne hyperpigmentation , its also used as an acne treatment in dermatology. So they actually approved it and sent me the Azelaic acid gel its the Finacea 15% gel azelaic acid . But make sure its from a trusted pharmacy and its more cost effective than using a cream version at low dose from skincare brands which is not as effective as the gel.
      In terms of use I first made the mistake of directly applying it to my face it stings and dried my face out the first 3 times I used it within a week span. So I the best approach I found is to directly mix a small amount of the Azelaic acid gel with the +B5 cream on the back of the hand . So a pea size of +B5 then on top of that pea size add a small amount of azelaic maybe a little less than a pea size on the first few nights, mix with finger till you know you’ve mixed up the two then apply all over face and neck , avoid eye area, I apply B5+ alone to under eye these nights . for protection. I would say start by doing this twice a week for the first two weeks then change to three times a week. But no more than three times a week. Use the following nights as recovery phase, apply hydrating sleeping masks and moisturisers that will calm and protect your skin and allows turn over . Always at night. And make sure you use SPF50 to protect your face during the day.

    My best bet for treating my baby's diaper rash is Weleda Baby Calendula Wundschutzcreme - it contains all the ingredients essential to treat rashes and protect your baby's bottoms: zinc oxide, almond oi, calendula flower extract, chamomile flower extract, and beeswax! I use it for my skin to heal after the use of tretnoin. I get very flaky for a few days and I just use the cream during the day on the flaky spots. It helps against the itching.🙈 And at night I use it as a sort of sleeping mask over my ceramide moisterizer. Love this product. And I am very acne prone. It doesn’t break me out👍

      Do you use it every night as a sleeping mask? Would you use it in place of your moisturizer also or it only works with another moisturizer underneath?

    • @xxmiranda01xx
      @xxmiranda01xx Рік тому +3

      @@PsiChotic I use it only at night for the time that my face is dry and flakey from the use of tretenoin. And if it is really bad, then I use a thin layer during the day. Just to re-apply. But very thin because it gives a white cast😁
      But for the night over my moisterizer.

    Echoing someone else's comment, it leaves a cast, I mean a pale white cast which will be whiter or less white depending on how much is used. For this reason, I tend to use it in the evening at home. Then in the morning I use a different La Roche product that may not be as good, but it does not leave a cast. Still, this baum is very good, it's just that you might not want to put it on then go out in public.

    I would like to know if you would recommend this after removing stitches. So, for a wound that is no longer bleeding but the skin is still thin in some areas. Could this be used instead of Halibut for example? Would it be better? Worse?

    Doctor i need your help!
    Right after a chemical straightening from a salon I started loosing hell lot of hair. They gave me a bald spot also. Dermatologists say it has triggered chronic talogen effluvium. I'm loosing hair since 6 months.lost more than 50 percent hair until now. Please let me know if anyone has faced this amount of damage and hairloss Or am I the only one. As a lot of people connect with you, you have seen a lot of cases. Please help with the regrowth 🙏🏻 doctors are suggesting minoxidil. However, I don't want to use it. I'm taking homeopathy treatment. Can see baby hair in each parting. Still shedding is a lot. 300 strands or so. Please help
    The hairloss is a side effect of chemical straightening doctors say!
    Loosing all over scalp
