Personally now I always take a GPS. If you've ever been lost in the bush before you get the smarts pretty quick. I realise now that directions you thought you knew can suddenly become confusing and uncertain especially as the sun goes down. This is what got me into a more serious situation. Whenever I go bush now I take 2x GPS, my phone turned off with GPS capacity obviously and now also an emergency beacon. And to back all this up I've even got a compass. The only thing I don't take is a sextant and tracking 🐕. I go alone often into some untracked areas and what I used to think was unnecessary has led me out of many disorienting situations. So when I saw you state that you weren't sure where the car is I had a strong reaction. So for anybody going exploring take my advice you don't want to get disoriented in the bush. And always let someone the heck know where you're going.
From memory, I parked near the first house and walked literally straight down. As you seen on the video it is very scrubby and there are big rocks. Be careful and good luck. Cheers
Me and a mate put the first swing off the tree there many years ago. Brings back some memories...:)
Because of this video I went here and I saw the swing
Looks good, thanks for sharing.

my god.. beautiful.. gorgeous country there.. excellent country to fish, regardless of the fish or not..
I remember swimming there when I was a kid
That Grass of the rock never use to be there , we use to jump of that rock and swim back Too the Dam wall
Couldn’t pay me to do that now 😂
You used to be able to take a small 4WD right up to the dam. someone built a house there now and has blocked the path.
Nice video mate, so is there really bass in the dam?
I guess once upon a time. Don't know about now.
Parked my car in Reeves strret, but couldn't find the path down. How do you get down to the Dams?
