Thanks Rami I appreciate it brother! Hard work and persistence by the will of God is what has helped me become a better angler. Hopefully I can learn more and refine my skill to be able to pick out the bigger fish!
@@TheFinesseAngler thats it bro always learning ahah ! Hopefully this weekend , im doing fish fest comp this weekend im still deciding hownits going to play out may try enter as many species as i can ahah
What a fun day out. You make me want to fish there. Is it far to peddle ? I love the hawksbury but it is a lot of water to cover. That looks great and you have sold me on another spot😂 I love the splash prawn as a top water too. I will be finding a few slippery dogs too now and a few more colours in the flick. Whats your weight forbjig head. I like the 1/20. Thanks for the distraction at work and motivation to check it out. Bring on more. 🎉
Not far of a peddle at all! You can start working from the boat ramp to as far as you can handle. I’ve never tried the splash prawn but the slippery dogs are definitely my go to top water lures. The red herring in the flick is my absolute favourite! Trust me give them a go. Can’t go wrong 👌. I stick to 1/20 and 1/30 on edges in terms of jig head. Glad you enjoyed mate! Anything else you’d like to see?
@@TheFinesseAngler had a few good seshs on the yak around Como bridge but yet to try the other bridges. Keen to see ya have a crack there. Tight lines lad 🤙
Hey mate, try your flick baits around the towra flats and fish wooloware bay mangroves and oyster racks... you will have heaps of fun. Great video mate, i really enjoyed it
It is definitely healthy. There was an immense amount of bait fish holding on the edges. More than I’ve seen in any other river system I’ve come across soo far.
Wow, I’m impressed Abz ,you've done an amazing job catching those bream! Your skill and patience really paid off. Keep up the good work

Great session mate. Some healthy looking bream
Thanks champion, it was on fire indeed! Have you been out lately?
I can't say I've used alof of surface but the slippery dogs stingers is what makes me prefer it
Learning alot from your videos bro. Keep it up. Loving the kayak adventures.
I’m glad you’re enjoying! Is there anything you would like me to show more of?
I've been a grub and paddle tail guy, I gotta give the flick a go. Does it dart side to side on the jerk?
I’ve always been a paddle tail and grub guy too! I’m pretty sure it does dart side to side
@@TheFinesseAngler only one way to find out. Could really entice a bite I reckon if it's being followed
@@yep.fishing So far in a couple of weeks, I’ve pulled out 2 x 40cm+ bream on them. Check out the new vid

Awesome vlog bro!!
Thanks Mick! Looking forward to a collab soon.
Great fishing brah, picking a spot, casting in and hauling out a fish… totally addictive 👍
Thanks buddy! It really got me by surprise hitting a new system and doing really well. Addictive indeed.
Top vid mate, can I ask of you use mono for surface (as it floats as opposed to fluro) and if so which one? Thanks tight lines 🤙🏾
I use Daiwa xlink Fluro and has been great! I alternate between 5lb and 6lb. Occasionally 8lb if in tight structure.
What a vid brother !!! Great watch as always man i watch your technique closely hahah learn alot !!
Thanks my bro! I appreciate it. Haha I’m still learning brother, but whatever I’m doing is working 😂. You going out soon?

Mad vid cuz. Sesh in the George’s river would be good 👌

Awesome content!
Thanks legend!
yeah its teaming with bull sharks there mate.
The one that breached was most likely a ray however I did see a fin zoom past me at some point
Great video well done, how about a gear run down and lure list? Cheers
Thanks Dave! I will try to include them in future videos and also in the near future I will also dedicate a video to the fishing gear I use.
Nice vid. Which boat ramp did you use?
Thanks mate! Apple tree bay boat ramp. Have you used that boat ramp before?
Yeah I have. That's in Cowan, not the Hawkesbury.
@nickj1663 Oh, is Cowan not considered Hawkesbury?
Its a subcatchment or tributary of the Hawkesbury, however its not the Hawkesbury proper.@@TheFinesseAngler
@@nickj1663 Thanks for the knowledge mate. I really didn’t know that! Do you fish Cowan much? Or you just stick to the main river?
Nice vid
Can I ask what rod you were using?
Which one mate? I had 6 rods with me
lol… the one you used in the video around 6:50
@stevenlin7938 Samurai infinite 6-12lb. What sort of rod do you use?
@@TheFinesseAngler thanks for the info mate
I use atomic arrowz 3-6lbs and found it too light.
@@stevenlin7938 all my other rods are in the 1-3kg range. I’m just trying to figure out which rod I enjoy most for surface lures.
