I love the way they say this is my private car, when they record thousands of number plates every day, day in day out. and gather information covertly. I think we should start a batabase of coppers private vehicles with names and number plates and station for all the public to see. That should well and truly rattle there little minds.

In teams they tend to talk over each other. That's what happened here. It got confusing and ramped up for no reason. But caught a plonker expecting not to filmed "walking in a carpark"... Yet we all know there are 10,000s of CCTV cameras in nearly every place in the UK - certainly every car park. But this officer wants HIS privacy in HIS carpark... Yep... double standards abide.

If you're behaving properly you have nothing to feel harassed alarmed or distressed about." When I work in on-site IT support and services I never have a problem with clients watching me work, nor of them filming me, should they wish to do so. Because I'm confident that I always try to work in a professional manner.

On the other hand I doubt even if manners were used that an aggressive auditor would point the camera somewhere else Just because its legal to do something doesn't mean you should do it just to be a D**K. Sure their are Camera's everywhere but normally they are for security and protection and normally never see the light of day unless something against the law has happened, its not like the Popo are standing outside your works or following you about recording you face to face without a reason. so personally I think both of you could have handled that interaction better. One last point I'll make is those who stand outside police stations and nothing else aren't really auditors there idiots with a camera looking to create a video that will make them money nothing more.
