Just because AI cannot perform all of the functions that people can, does not mean that companies wont try to implement them anyways. AI do not demand wages, so as soon as the productivity to profit ratio tips in favor of AI, many jobs will disappear. Usually this would not be a problem, people can find other jobs, right? Unfortunately the industries most threatened by AI are dominated with unskilled workers; either these people will become labourers, or they will need to gain higher education (which is not free). Interesting video though, very surprised I was recommended it.
I actually agree with this, there is a high chance that so-called "unskilled workers" (without wanting to offend anyone) are likely to be replaced soon. I'm also suspired that UA-cam is recommending this so much lol
I'm really sorry to hear that. The more "repetitive" tasks (especially those highly related to pattern recognition) are more likely to be replaced. To be honest you're the first person that I've heard was replaced by AI. Do you feel like telling me more about it?
@@elias_ebner You pretty much nailed it. I would look through transactions for patterns. (Repetitive) I would review around 200 transactions a day, and catch a certain percentage of fraud. The machine can look at 10,000 or more an hour, and is more accurate at catching fraud. It's a good thing for society, just sucks for me right now. lol. Thieves have started using their own AI to counter preventitive AI, it's getting interesting. Leading up to it, you will hear a lot of the term, "repurposing employees." The company will say they will just move you to another business unit. But that's a small percent if at all.
@@bochafish Oh that's strange, i remember reading your response where you said that I was right about the "repetitive" jobs. I even hearted the comment. Maybe there was some automatic filtering system that wrongly deleted your comment.
it already happened. what do you mean "reality or hype"? ai is making art and videos and music, no more job opportunities for poeple in this creative fields
I am sorry to tell you but you are terribly wrong. I'm assuming you don't have any background in any of those fields. The "art" generated by AI is not even comparable with human-made art. Let's not even talk about the music or the videos. But thank you, you gave me a great video idea where I could go more into depth regarding this topic. Have a great day!

Already lost a job to AI. I reviewed transactions for fraud.

@@bochafish Oh this is strange, it shows your reply in UA-cam Studio but not under my video. Maybe it's buggy or something?
