The future faking is SO CRUEL. It hurts everyone , spouse and children. All sit waiting waiting waiting, for something that NEVER materializes. Then all have to process that they never meant to fulfill, just "put off" , with all in their behest.
The future faking can also be part of the love bombing phase.
Even remembering what I went through I have to take a deep breath, calm my body down and remind myself I’m ok now, he’s gone.

I think people need to examine why they tolerate the future faking or abuse. The best solution for the abuser is to leave them in your dust, but people do not because they want to believe the fiction spouted by the abuser. Why confront someone who is absolutely evil to you? Leave.

The continuous let down they do is soo disheartening for the excited happy spouse on the other end when she realizes OVER & OVER it is only hope differed and your left feeling so vulnerable and hurt and often embarrassed....
