Wisconsin's Biggest Asian Beef Pho Noodles Soup Challenge in Manitowoc!!

- American professional eater Randy Santel versus Manitowoc Pho & Grill's massive Asian Beef Pho Noodles Soup Challenge hosted by Manitowoc Pho & Grill in Manitowoc, Wisconsin!! While staying at our Milwaukee, Wisconsin house, I decided to head up to Manitowoc, WI so I could attempt the newer supersized Asian Beef Pho Noodles Soup Challenge at Manitowoc Pho & Grill!! I had just 45 minutes to feast on a giant bowl of Asian pho equal to around 6 normal-sized portions of beef pho. There were over 2lbs of rice noodles (dry weight) with over 2lbs of various beef meats - meatball, brisket, and steak. There were also some healthy Asian vegetables added into the bowl, and I even added the sides included, such as bean sprouts and jalapenos. There were four quart-sized ladles of beef pho broth added, which means there was over 1 gallon of soup broth!! Thankfully, challengers don't have to finish all of the pho broth, which is just optional. All of the noodles, meat, and veggies must be finished to win. I was trying to become only the second person to win my $60 supersized bowl of pho free plus a sweet custom t-shirt, a $50 gift certificate to come back and use later, and a spot on their Wall of Fame. THAT'S ONE BIG BOWL!
This restaurant is fairly new, I believe they just opened late last year. I'm from Milwaukee & have been going to Manitowoc once every other month for like the past 3 years now, & was so happy to see a new Asian restaurant while I'm there (there aren't many, just your typical buffet & takeout Chinese). I tried Manitowoc Pho & Grill back in February, & I have to say, they probably have the best banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich) I've ever had from a restaurant! My cousin makes some great banh mi's, & theirs taste very similar to his. They pack it with so much of everything, wish you could post pics on YT so I can show yall. Manitowoc is a small town, so I hope they can maintain & stay open for how ever long they want. I'll be sure to eat there again!

RANDYYYY!! YES!! PHOOOO!!! Oh Good Lord, you got me drooling at 6:30 in the morning! Pho is my absolute, hands down favorite! Come on now! I'm sitting here watching and can actually taste it! I have a couple of new places to try a town or two over from us. The jalapenos are one of my favorite adds. Then I use the hot chile oil! YUM!! I know it's random but, you got to come to Gallatin Tennessee to try this restaurant called Fowl Play Hot Chicken. I heard some people saying they have the best food ever, and they were right. It might be pretty far from you, but when you try it you won't regret it.

My favorite Pho is Five Spice Chicken. If you ever come across it I highly recommend. It's basically a fried chicken breast with five spice seasoning that they cut into filets and serve on the side. You soak each filet in the broth one by one and it flavors the broth. Most places don't have it but if you see it I think you'll like it. Get a normal size bowl though!!
