Designed by Fabrice Gonet this automatic 200 meters diver is a perfect design mix between Hemipode and Seaslug. Seapod dial is inspired by the first Ikepod watch. A tribute to the future, in terms of rotating bezel technology and design.

Christian-Louis has become an expert of luxury having passed through the watchmaking world with Richemont, pearls and diamonds with Golay Buchel & cie and other luxury brand executive positions. “A big fan of Ikepod since 1994, I’m fulfilling my watchmaking dream by putting all my dedication, energy and experience of the luxury market into the renaissance of the brand.
When the brand was put to rest in 2012 many were inspired by Ikepod or still fans.
To take it over in 2017 was a dream which became reality with the Kickstarter relaunch in 2018.
Ikepod is a design brand, an house for designers, and I always found ikepod watches sublime but a bit exclusive in term of pricing. The idea is to offer time machines with a strong designer and DNA, now affordable. 25 years ago it was possible to buy a luxury watch with your first salaries, nowadays our mission is to offer your value for money, great quality and iconic design.

Love it, however, its freaking to large. Make Ikepod Seapod 37, 38, 39mm and I will make the purchase.
thats a fair comment but the only thing is you would need to have lugs fitted if it much smaller, as I couldn't imagine a watch with 37mm lug to lug size Sir

Always liked Ikepods but was never brave enough to splash out. Just shouts a bit too much of 'I used to be an architect before I moved to Ibiza.' Perhaps time for a reassessment.
Its a brand I wanted to try before but there are not so many dealers out there, I think its a real head turner this one

clownishly too big, why do watchmakers want us walking around looking like clowns? The case is a really cool shape. But I dont like the hands either, I want to see the hour hand as the minute hand passes over, especially in the dark, reading the time at night. Id expect better loom for that money, is this a tool or a piece of jewellery?
Thats fair enough but the beauty with its design is the lug to lug size is smaller than that of the old classic Rolex Submariner
Hi Barry, it's certainly different! I like it, but not enough to buy one. It looks quite thick on your wrist though, and I can think of more suitable watches for me. I'd have that Laco though! LG Bob 🍻
The Laco I still really enjoy , I've had it a year now one day I may invest in a bracelet for it one matey

I’ve never come across this brand before. I like its looks, but can guarantee that Hectors Mum would hate this, especially in this colour way, so I’ll never be getting that one. As soon as I saw it, I thought “Thunderbirds”. I must make a visit to First Class and see their stock. Great review and I can hear your enthusiasm for this brand.
I'm thinking of doing a German watch event later in the year there which could be fun
