I'm glad these states are receiving extra snap benefits. However, all states should be on the same increase schedule. Those states aren't the only ones privy to food needs.

So much for the concept of "United" States huh? Ridiculous that some states get far more aid and resources than others for vital things like food.
It’s one do to those State Governors that pay extra into it to help their citizens, not their Mayor, A Mayor isn’t A Washington Political Official, he’s a city official, so,I don’t get that and, usually city officials aren’t really in charge of government state funds! Again the Emergency Pandemic Allotments will never be issued again in the majority of the states, again according to my state Governor of Indiana and, the reason the why they done away with them when, they could is because, he stated it embarrassed most of them! Just like, I said they should of been embarrassed it was because, when, they cut the benefits quite a bit during the last recession several yrs ago. That was why we got a raise ago benefits after the Pandemic because, they didn’t realize how many people were living in poverty and food insecure! So, they stated, they will be raising the regular monthly benefit, I remember hearing this on the radio because, I was just starting my grocery shopping, I was in the produce section. Then, the month before they took Indiana off of their pandemic they done another re-cert and, then, my case manager wanted me to believe, I was getting that new benefit previous to the pandemic, we weren’t! Aka / Either way you slice it they won’t always be truthful, I kept track of all my monthly benefits and, I kept those statements. Either way you also put it the low and, fixed income will struggle and, they will never give you enough to supply your needs, if you have kids, yep you’ll be ok but, if your single, we’ll that’s how it goes for us! That new farm bill is supposed to move them back to the pandemic benefit or close to that but, that should becoming up soon, but, it has to get passing votes and signed into law before this and, these new rules with whatever all other changes they are going to press.
So am I. Tomorrow I would get $263.00 worth of Food Stamps instead of $276.00 because of my $39.00 increase but that's not bad because I would loose $13.00 instead of what I was loosing Last Year because of my $73.00 increase.
I started getting $943.00 at the end of December. I'm definitely satisfied for what I can get Tomorrow.

That’s more than likely not to happen, my state Governor of IN came out and said, they were embarrassed they had to give out extra SNAP Benefits During The Pandemic! Yeah, yet, state governors weren’t giving low income residents enough monthly to eat on, deserves them right to be embarrassed! Then, when, the Pandemic was over they said you’ll go back your regularly monthly benefit, lol! We all done knew e weren’t giving us that same amount for the Pandemic! They even stated when, The Pandemic was over that they was going to raise the benefits because, they didn’t realize how many people were going hungry and without food! I heard that come on the radio one day when, I was at the grocery store in the produce section and, I was just starting my grocery shopping! And, everyone knows right before the Pandemic with last recession every month SNAP Benefits changed, and, more often than not it was less than $100 a month and at the most it might have been between $110 to $115! I’d like to know what happen with this law where they were going to raise the monthly benefit close to the Pandemic amount!
I'm disabled and I have custody of 3 children, all are under the age of 18 and they all are in school. One of the kids is a special needs child, she was abused in Every way! Her dad kept her doped up with Tylenol so men could have their way with her. When I got her she was very sick and she was scared of men, when any male got close to her she would go into fits! About 3 days after I got her she was sitting on the bed and her eyes rolled back in her head and she passed out, I freaked out and rushed her to the hospital as soon as we got there they rushed her to a bed in the ER, she set up opened her eyes and she passed out again, this happened when she was almost 3 yrs old. The Dr's ran in and done some blood work and not long after they took her to Children's Hospital in Knoxville TN. They ran more tests and found out that she had Ecoli and a very rare bacteria that was caused by an STD! The Dr's also said that she had so much Tylenol that it was still in her system! And yes she had been Molested, Raped. Because she had been given so much Tylenol and other substances at such a crucial age, the age that her brain is like a sponge that soaks up everything and begins learning. That messed her learning ability up. The Dr's said that she would have a very hard time learning anything and remembering anything threw out her entire life. And the Dr's were right sadly!
We are a family of 5 and we only get enough snap to go to the grocery store if we're lucky 2 times a month. It's so heart breaking when your kid's want something like a bag of chips and I have to say maybe next time but not now we can't afford it. We only get $340.00 in Snap Benefits. Me and my husband both are disabled and we're both on medications, I recently found out that I have more serious health problems. We have to pay for our meds every month. Joe Biden Lied when he promised to lower the cost of medicine, prescription medication! We didn't have to pay a penny for our prescriptions while Donald Trump was President, not a penny! Food prices keep going up and our Snap Benefits keep getting smaller. I'm just so upset with our President and our Governor! Why does our Government treat Foreigners better then us Americans? I feel like we don't matter! People like my family have it hard and then I watch the News and hear that our President is going to give other Countries billions of dollars for Aid. Foreigners are put above Americans! (Charity Begins At Home)! Foreigners get to eat at the table, Poor Americans get their crumbs off the floor!

It was just $10 this time and, no more than that! Luckily, I been able to stretch my benefits a little more but, still it only goes so, far and, it;isn’t enough anymore to cover 3 meals a month and, you about have to constantly eat on leftovers!
I got mines on the 6 day of this month thank you cause food is high I was running out of food had to buy more and feeding other people also just to make sure they have ate it was killing my pocket and time I really appreciate that 😊😊😊❤❤

It isn’t that at all,The SNAP Program is Federal but State Governors pay into the Program! You Monthly SNAP Benefits are based off of not only your income but, what your state Governor pays into the program, that’s why monthly benefits vary from State to State! Therefore, these states that are getting the extra is because, those state governors paid beyond the average normal amount to give the residents of their state those extra monthly benefits! If other state governors don’t do the same then, your state won’t be able to get extra monthly benefits! Go out and, vote, it is your power!

What about all of us that have cards that are senior citizens in other states how come it’s always the defund states that get thes checks and gas cards food ex food stamps. It has nothing to do with Federal Again, it has to do with those states and those state governors paying extra into the SNAPProgram for their citizens, and, that’s like how these governors get extra funds, that state has such funds or apply for these added funds! If your Governor done this, this would be you, remember that the next time you decide you would not want to vote, if you don’t vote don’t complain! Don’t cry foul because, someone else gets blessed and, you don’t, be thankful and grateful for what you do have!

She don’t say a $5,000 dollar car gift card, a gas card and a $2,000 and, it’s nothing federal, it’s issued by their state Governor! That is why it’s important to vote,the next time you don’t vote you might want to remember that, same thing with SNAP Benefits! Even though it’s a federal program, it’s based on your monthly income and verses what your state Governor pays in! I know people talk about not voting but, that is the only way you have some kind of control of who you put in your state and, who you send to Washington!
