Excellent review. I really think it’s wonderful that a father and son can sit and enjoy a dram together. I also like the format. Horst, you did a great job by yourself when you did reviews alone, but having Ben there makes the reviews seem more casual. It’s also really nice having a second opinion. Good job gentlemen!
Bit of a random question for you, when you have a dram that you have already tasted before, do you swish it and identify notes or just drink it straight down? Not sure why this came into my head but I'm guessing it has something to do with that empty bottle of Old Pultney on my table
yeah becouse Glenfarclas is not that exciting whiskey i think this one becouse of teh age he is really good en he is cheap very cheap i am going to order the bottle en yes how older Glenfarclas bottles they are good bud stay away from the 12 15 18 years old borring whiskey
im not a big fan of Glenfarclas bud i never tasted the 21 en iam big van of this dude what he thinks is close to a perfeckt dram is olmost perfeckt i am going to order this one becouse i buy them all we he likes becouse they are good
GF 17 is more butterscotch,juicy fruit flavours..i've even heard 17 is chill filtered.Tried it twice,but the 21 is amazing,just lovely,old,complex flavours.Yummy!😋😋😋

Thank you for the review, Gentlemen... 🥃
Thanks for the review. I really love this distillery and I share your opinion that this 21 year old drink is just wonderful!
Love this... But my favorite is the 15
Nice review. The 21 is one of my best Glenfarclas. I really like the spicyness of the sherry cask.
It's my fav...
Gonna try it this evening, now with high expectations, thanks gents.
JI how was it?
@@johnwilliams2183 It was really good, I got a small sample, will buy a bottle soon
Thanks for your reviews, i would like to know if when we talk about Sherry Casks we are always talking about European Oak.
Sherry oak can also be from American oak. The bodega’s in Spain use both.

Pity its filtered...WHY????!And it should be 46%abv minimum!Visited Distillery in April 2018..great fun!!!
Horst, do you prefer the Glenfarclas 21 or 25?
Just bought a few of the 25 year old ......wonder how they compare ?
25 much more barrel influence
ItsThatMilkshake cheers. What do you prefer ?
21 is my favorite. Silky Smooth.
This is the most inexpensive 21 years old whisky that I found.
I like the 21 YO very much. when it comes to Glenfarclas, older is better.

@@janteun3 I agree boring but solid value on the standard bottlings. The family casks on the other hand are spectacular.
THIS VS 18 PLSS
