Hey guys! Hope you all are having a fantastic week. We'd like to once again thank the sponsor of this video, Keeps. Please be sure to visit www.keeps.com/redline to get a special offer. We also wanted to clarify the LED daytime running lights, they are indeed amber in color, but only at night. During the day, Toyota says it switches over to a white DRL. Let's hope that either a TRD or GR Camry will follow this new version at some point!

Since it’s all hybrid I think they should have went a step further and made the hybrid max powertrain as an option on xse with 300 hp and AWD and the 340hp version with AWD in a GR Camry version. I’m not surprised as this is what the market for these cars is like. Still better than the new accord but I’ll keep my accord 2.0t for awhile. 😩

It was gonna be hard to top that WOW factor the 2018 model brought. While that style did fade over time, it really was such a huge change for the Camry in particular as it told the world that Toyota can make sexy sedans. You no longer needed to go to the other Japanese automakers for that curb appeal. I loved this design language in the new Prius, but I am not really digging the front fascia on this year's Camry. I'll take the XSE front end over the XLE though, much better by comparison. I do like that the side profile seems very similar to last gen. Interior-wise, I really like it. I feel like the '18 model generation came in at just the wrong time when it comes to Toyota interiors, in particular the tech. The refreshes helped but it still lagged in tech by a longshot compared to other vehicles in their lineup. As a 2018 Camry Hybrid XLE owner, I am not too keen to upgrade, but if my car were to get totaled (God Forbid) I would definitely consider this.

With my 2021 XSE lease coming to an end this upcoming summer, I was really looking forward to seeing the redesign. While I really like what they’ve done inside and out in regard to aesthetics, only having a hybrid option and moving to CVT transmission only, I’m very disappointed. Also, it might be small to most, but ruining symmetry by not having the quad exhaust bothers me. I think I’m just gonna buy out my current lease and keep my 2021 at this point.

Sure it’s an upgrade, but I was hoping for something not Crown like and sure enough…that’s what they did. The Prius has a sharper front end compared to this. Def wasn’t a big fan of the lower end Crown engine or the way the hybrid handles. Honda has the handling and hybrid down to a T, even though Toyota’s is more economic. Not a bad car, but I suppose I’ll have to wait till a Toyota looks more appeasing.

*The XLE grille looks more "aggressive" than the XSE, but they both look pretty terrible grillewise. The DRLs look good in color and design. The wheels look good. The rear end is ok, but the previous **#Honda** **#Accord** look isn't great since it didn't look good on the Accord either. Its trunk spoiler looks good and the vehicle's overall profile looks decent. I'm highly disappointed with it having a CVT and no higher end 300hp variant. The interior is good and the gauges look great, but the dashboard looks boring and pretty bad. The steering wheel isn't too bad, but it looks like it belongs on a truck to me. Idk. I'm really torn on this model and I think I'd want the previous model. I had extremely high hopes for this "new" (looks more like a refresh) **#Toyota** **#Camry**, but I think due to that I've been let down much more than I thought I ever would be, so unfortunately I'll be passing on this car. Maybe I'm the only one that feels this way about the redesign and maybe it'll grow on me, BUT I'm pretty mad about it because I was considering it thinking I'd just love everything about it no matter what. Maybe I just need a black one with a red interior. That trash dashboard though...smh.*
