I was trying hold getting moving from a 2012 Galant in 2022, I had to jump into the 2022 Camry. I'm riding with that until 200k miles then upgrading. I usually buy a new car every 10 years. The Camry is a major major go and sexxxy looking car. Until you sit it in and drive it, you feel your confidence shoot up instantly. 2010 Camry in the house!! 😂 250k miles and still going!! I'm disappointed that they are doing away with the 4 cylinder only model though. 😕

Great review! These new Camrys looks awesome! It looks like they took the interior from the Crown and incorporated it into the Camry, only it's too bad that they didn't bring over the extremely versatile dual access center console from the Crown as well - that would have made the new interior perfect! it will have a less reliable 4 cylinder turbo that will never go for as long as the older naturally aspirated V6 without repairs. Pros: Looks nice and they finally put effort into streamlining the tablet into the dash. Looks much better. Cons: hybrid only? The 2.5 4cly option gave mid to high 30’s and ran forever. It could also be had for 25k before the new business model car companies implemented 3 years ago. Even if this hybrid only lineup returned 10mpg more it will cost nearly twice as much. Innumerate people will not be able to see the problem with this.

The only bit I don't care for is putting the 12 volt connector in the console compartment rather than in the under the dash cluster with the USB connections. It makes for a longer and more obtrusive path for the cord for components that are located on the dash or suction-cupped to the windshield. Other than that, I love it.

Great Video Jeff…my lease on my 22 RAV4 SE Hybrid is up in January 2025…I have owned several Camrys in the past and the only reason I Leased the RAV4 was because I had ordered two cameras, and neither one would come in by the time my lease was up. So I took what I could get and that was the cavalry blue RAV4… I do miss my Camry and it was white with the cockpit red interior… Now that RAV4’s are getting priced out of my budget… I love the looks of the new Camry. I am also pleased that it has gone hybrid with the AWD option. I will note though I don’t know if Toyota is doing the right thing by making the Camry hybrid only as I do realize there are people that do not want a hybrid. Sales will tell. Looking forward to seeing one in person at the New York international car show in April… Didn’t realize how much space was on the Camry because cargo space is something I need and with a 6 inch ground clearance with the Camry versus the 8 inch ground clearance with the RAV… I think it should be OK here in the north east winters. Was looking at the cockpit red interior for 2025, but when Jeff said it’s available with a blue interior and a black exterior, I am anxious to see how sharp that looks… Jeff, keep these videos coming as I always look forward to your review on Toyotas

Let's see how Toyota handles this engine for long term of reliability. In this case, I still trust Toyota than other brand making hybrid engine.
Hybrid engine is somehow better than Turbocharged engine, regardless it is Lexus or Toyota; it will wear down quickly or require more maintenance. We cant avoid that. Only thing we can avoid is DO NOT BUY TURBO ENGINES!!
I would like to get one of Sequoia or Land Cruiser of 2024, but both of them with turbocharged engine, and I dont like those turbo; Sequoia even crazier with mild hybrid assisting on top of that. It causes more stresses compared to Land Cruiser.

Since when did Toyota remove the hydraulic hood lifts? I'm using Camry 2003 XLE and those are life saving things. In 2023, putting that old tranditonal stand every time u poop the hood kinda looks cheap 😕 and inconvenient. C'mon!!

@daddyj6931, the suspension is soft enough to handle a pothole on either version. The tire sidewall ratio has way more to do with comfort and durability if you hit a bad one. In general, a taller 50+ sidewall will handle potholes better. That's the second number on the tire dimensions.

Where's the V-6 ? Just checked the Toyota website, there still is an XLE V-6 ... for 2024 at least ... close call
You want a car that you can drive for more than 100,000 miles or 10 years without any major expenses? Toyota is killing that plan by making ALL cars HYBRID. Toyota has now followed the appliance industry .. making their cars "fail" within a certain timeline, no matter how good you take are of it.
