i used this as a backup to my gps. Glad i did. My GPS went on the fritz in the Bighorn Mtns in wyoming. Although i did not mark my location when i went in, the app showed me where i was and that i was heading in the right direction to a froestry trail. And just because its on your phone you dont need cell service to have it work.
Love the concept of the program and it's ability to help you with knowledge of the hunting area's. Some folks figure that hunting is killing, something that can't shoot back, I have to say that they have zero clue about the concept of what hunting is all about, we are supposed to be steward's of our entire environment part of the nasty job includes planning and planting various plants and trees and to harvest an animal we do so to both provide food and protect the various species too ensure that the animals don't die to over population and starvation of it's species and hunting isn't a big guarantee that you will harvest an animal every time you go hunting, that's why it's called hunting not random killing or harvest at will. I believe only in the ethical means of taken of game animals and being able to share this with other members of the family as well as a few friends and is truly a blessing to have and share with others and whether or not I know these friends, they become a new friend to us. And hopefully we can all start being responsible and respectful of others and our wonderful Environment and all that it provides for all.
I am looking forward to it...I did try the app but was under the impression it was locked out if I didn't purchase it, now I erase it and when I put in my e-mail it won't let me in saying my free trial has expired...or something ilike that, it will not let me in...
I served in the Marines, I'm pro second amendment, I love guns and blowing stuff up getting dirty etc, but hunting something that cant shoot back is cowardly, let me say that again, if you hunt something that can not shoot back, you are a coward. unless you are genuinely feeding your family.
