@@pb6198I never tried the carb for it, just direct injection, low cam, 16:1 compression, 20psi of boost and 5k limiter to keep it realistic besides running methanol since there’s no low enough octane fuel to be like diesel
Are there parts that need to be unlocked in this game? I don't have as many intake manifold options (only 3) and not such a complicated/advanced fuel type selection with octane margin, leaded and unleaded options.
The Puma GTB is a "muscle Car" that uses in its composition of fiberglass body. But it's a case on the part! (Remembering that this car was built in a Brazil of the 70's then was what had at the time here.)
Barstow wins sound check, only because Automation cars generally tend to seem a bit more fake than Beam cars in every way, and that general idea applies to the Torro El Torro SS.
I dont mean to sound rude or anything but if you are to recreate a diesel they always use mechanical fuel injection as diesel requires 300 or more psi (please correct me if im incorrect) but i also dont really know how automation works but i thought id float the idea around
Automation ironically can make engines that feel like diesel, but with no compression, or fuel economy. Just a grumbling low RPM, Torquay motor. It could before the engine revamp anyways.

That 450hp of the el camino is gross. It's probably around 350hp net. Manual rack and pinion steering is terrible for heavy cars. If you want to make a heavy car without power steering, use recirculating ball steering, like american cars did.
everything about this car is perfect exept one thing, why did you riun that engine with turbos? if u want REAL american disel muscle car u need 8,2l disel v8 without any turbo or super chargers
Fuck sake, it can't run of avgas either 🤦. He's done it because carbs make it sound diesel like. And in fact, if it has a blower, it can work, look at the old navy marine ships

@@pb6198 besides the fact that is just an old saying. When it comes to internal combustion engines, there actually isn't, no matter what you do you'll never be able to make the 107,000 horsepower that the 1828 liter RT-flex96c makes with a 5 liter engine, just by the sheer difference in the amount of combustion material you can physically push through it. you can't get more energy out than there is in the fuel being used.
@@benjaminmarsolek6867 video about cars mate, car engines. Not cruise liners, which incidentally use higher pressure turbochargers, or blowers for 2 strokes, than before, to replace displacement
@@pb6198 there's a hard limit to what you can do with superchargers and turbo chargers. And the same principle applies. That's just an extreme example. There's a physical limit to how much fuel and air you can push through an engine of a given size. And the only way you can get past that is a bigger engine. And the reason they use smaller engines is cruise ships, is they don't actually need that big of an engine. So it's just not practical maintenance wise, or in terms of buoyancy, to have that large of an engine on a ship, or they can sacrifice the extra weight and power from the engine to have a higher passenger capacity, or more floors, or just amenities in general. You don't really get the same benefits in a car. There's a reason super cars don't use 2L 4 bangers.

i also would imagine the engine rolling coal.
as for who wins. the el toro mainly cause the fact diesel engines have alot of bass and when i mean alot. i mean alot, especially when straight piped.
Who cares
There is a dramax swapped chevelle that is super clean. Go take a look.

Hey, pro tip for diesel: they cant use carburetors, and must be mechanically fuel injected due to the compression.
This is true, but automation engines sound more diesel like with carbs
@@pb6198I never tried the carb for it, just direct injection, low cam, 16:1 compression, 20psi of boost and 5k limiter to keep it realistic besides running methanol since there’s no low enough octane fuel to be like diesel
Oldsmobile Diesel. 5.7L v8 sluggish diesel
Its like something you would see doing burnouts on australia with a comically big supercharger
there us no "too big super charger ", there only are too small engines
Your not wrong
I am so happy that rye finally figured out using avgas better simulates diesel fuel lol
Rye: makes a diesel muscle car
Westin Champlin's Smokestang: allow me to introduce myself
Lol
On Opera rn, great video btw.
I wish automation supported diesel and two stroke engines. Would be so much fun to play with.
Perfect. Now all you need to do is make western champlin’s smokestang
this title is misleading, it should be "Canadian Simps for USA Sempai"
What am I reading?

Aussie market equivalent trim for this truck is the Vegemite ExtraHaul...(VEH)

The Gavril V8 sounds like someone ate too much Taco Bell whereas yours sounds like it came off an actual truck.
How do you get all those extra sliders and things? Are they mods?
You can just call the high revving one you can call it a Detroit v8 because they did rev kinda high idk if any came with turbos
Think Detroit's only came with superchargers
@@darcykeddell4930 I already knew that
@@darcykeddell4930 I just didn’t know if some came with turbos
They don't rev all that much higher then other diesels. However they are 2 strokes wich makes the sound like they rev much higher then a 4 stroke.

I can’t use a single turbo on V or boxer engines am I just stupid or do I have to do something to have the ability?
