Plans and Patterns to Build a 4 Leg Escapement

The plans and patterns to build this escapement are available at this web site dctdrawings.com. This is the sixth escapement in the list of escapements you can get the plans for. You will be able to watch the UA-cam videos on the web site of each escapement by picking videos in the header. A weight hanging from a string attached to a reel gives the escapement its power to run. This escapement runs for about 3 minutes as the weight descends and touches the floor. It can be mounted to the wall with two screws preferably into studs but will also work with sheetrock anchors to make an interesting wall decoration. This escapement works great! I just finished making it. The instructions are very straightforward. I also made most of David’s other escapements, which are excellent also. If you need to ask him questions, which I did, he responds quickly to emails.
