I have broken the screen to my mg30 and having trouble finding a replacement. Maybe there's a solution somewhere here.? The MG doesn't have bluetooth does it? Are you using an external bluetooth device?
I use AirStep Lite to control the MG-30 through the Widi Uhost wirelessly. You can find some tutorial about Wifi Uhost at UA-cam. But remember to buy a USB type-C to type-C cable, and update the Widi Uhost firmwares (2 firmwares inside the unit, the USB and Midi firmwares) that is easily done through the Widi Apps from the phone or iPad. It didn't work with the MG-30 before updating the firmwares ! If you use a Bluetooth wireless footswitch and iPad (Midi Designer) to control MG30 at the same time, that's what I am doing. Don't turn on the footswitch. Let the ipad connect to midi Uhost first. And connect the footswitch to your ipad, instead of to MG30.
I built it from scratch by creating buttons and knobs and set the correct midi cc and value of each button and knob. You can explore more from the tutorial video of Midi Designer. Enjoy.
I use the USB to Bluetooth device called Midi Uhost. Alternatively, you can use a USB cable for direct connection. Your iPad should be installed with and running another free app "midimittr" for the bluetooth solution. I can't remember if the cabled solution needs midimittr or not.
I hope you can share the app..
Esta bien, pero como se conecta que aplicación se descarga
Thank you, very intersting.
What are the parameters for patches?
In the midi list I can only see effects parameters.
Set program changes in midi designer, then set the value from 0-127 for 01A to 32D
Thanks, do you also have code for patch up and patch down?
@@tonychow8131 Thank you for answering, I mean pc (n) tp pc (n+1) och pc (n-1) like the up and down that we have on the Nux itself.
@@payamelahian7511 I didn't try. But I just found from the Midi Designer user manual that you can set page up / down and bank up / down in a button.
I guess it is not PC message and it would be cc or Sysex.
