I had the same experience with RF microneedling. I had three sessions. I didn't find the procedure too painful, neither the days after. But then all the super dry spots and acne. I've been on oral isotretinoin a while ago so getting the acne again was horrible. Also my skin now reacts way worse to even salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide. @@taysonkhaHello, Tayson. Thank you for warning people about what can happen with isotretinoin, especially if you get a micro needling session. Like everything else, the healing time and how much discomfort you experience depends on your personal skin type, issues etc - and what needle length is used of course! 😊 Different skin = different needs/experiences...and results.
I just had the PRF microneedling done. I was sold some Revision cream to speed up the recovery process. My redness and pin pricks were gone in 6 days. Dr. I do microneedling at the derm on a monthly basis. My daily routine involves the use of a red light therapy mask. I read that because RLT helps with healing, it affects the efficacy of microneedling. What do you think?
Hi, so I was told by a med spa here at my first consult that I should get microneedling done every 4 weeks and I thought it was a bit excessive so I never went back and got it done. I’ve never had it done before but I have SUPER sensitive skin, some texture issues and scarring. How often would you recommend microneedling be done?? Is every 4 weeks too much? Should I avoid going to this place for skin treatments and find someone else? If it’s your first time, is there anything to do to prepare??
So if it takes the skin six months to heal then why do you need to do multiple treatments every six weeks? Does it turn into like a multiplier if that makes sense
So glad you addressed this. 6 months is realistic. Skincare is not magic and not an overnight process.
But you can’t just do one treatment- I’d say one a month for 6 months will show great improvement

I LOVE YOUR TRUENESS!!!!!!
It's true! What serum should use to stop acne and hydration of someone can suggest plz
I have rosacea and micro needling with PrP is the only thing that I’ve seen great results from. You have to have a good esthetician assist the doctor or nurse and after care is important. Also, lots of hydration is important
So you should only get it done once and wait 6 months for results?
Can you tell us if we need more than one treatment? Do we need add ons like cool peel?
Do you suggest microneedling always be done at the office or can you do it yourself? And if so, what length do you suggest is the best for microneedles? Thank you 💖

Hi, do u need to stop tretnoin before or after the treatment
So you have to repeat the procedures during 6 months? How about home microneedling treatment?
I've only had one session and I got some results for some moderate acne scarring I have on my cheek that I still see 2 years later. It certainly took more than a month to see the actual improvement though.
Does microneedling help with pigmentation?
Can you explain what’s the proper way to do microneedling? Is it circular motions or vertical up/down ? Thank you
What’s your take on prophilo injections
Hello what about prx peelings ? They are sold as mild microneedling. What do you think please ? And how often should we get them ?
Will it look better after a month though?
Dr. do you recommend that for Melesma?
Is it micro needling good for active acne and pigmentation?
Yep. I get petechiae that lasts for 3 or 4 days then peeling. i have some scars and that post treatment puffiness does fill it all in for a bit, it takes a while to see any changes. But your skin feels great after the peeling! Just hard to schedule it with not wanting to be seen for several days.
Dr I bought micro needle and Tretinon 0.05, I started the Tretinon should I wait for 1-2 months before I try micro needing?? Or can use both ?
Can you talk about PRP?
You have beautiful skin
I’m subbing because you look 25 🤷🏾♀️
So if it takes the skin six months to heal then why do you need to do multiple treatments every six weeks? Does it turn into like a multiplier if that makes sense
What about strech marks...the older ones... will they fill up, with microdeeling??? Thank you in advance
How often can you do at-home micro-needling treatments?
