    I really liked the video! you did a great job on the review. But, the irony.... reviewing a Lezyne floor pump while wearing a Silca T shirt. Thats like reviewing Pepsi while wearing a Coke t shirt. I love it.

    prefect review! just bought one wand didn't know about a few features you laid out... the valve core removal is dope. Im looking for ward to the chuck... I like the idea of it... hope I don't hate it.

    With modern tubeless tires, road and gravel, I'm about 50% whether I'm going to need to get the air compressor or not. Which, that is a huge improvement over 10 years ago.

      it helps a lot to remove the valve core and soap water the rim... pops on usually even with a regular floor pump.. with this air canister pumps its always been 100% for me

    Good review covered the lot and did not skip the poor points... Hose are never ever long enough..

    Nice informative review 👍 I wish I would have seen this before getting an Airshot (which is super useful but just another product to find room for). Thanks Andreas :)

    Yesterday I gave up on seating a Rene Herse Switchback Hill on a Hunt rim and just put in an inner tube. I have done it before but this time the new tire was just too loose. I even took it to a shop who said that I needed to put in another three or four layers of rim tape(!).
    I use a Topeak JoeBlow boost pump...same design as the Topeak but simpler I think.

      Those tires are not easy to setup.
      I’ll do a video about stuborn tires.
      Soon!
      Hope it will help.

      Funny...I picked up a pair of used Rene Herse gravel tires and had the same experience. First tubeless tire I've ever had where I couldn't get them inflated even with an air compressor.

      Yep, same issue with Rene Herse tires. The shop I wound up going to after I gave up said they struggled with them as well. Ultradynamicos snapped on perfectly.
      I bought the Crank Brothers Klic pump and it’s been nothing but trouble. Seals breaking, super soft aluminum Valve threads that strip, leaks, it’s total trash.

    I wish I’d seen your video a few days ago. I just returned the digital version of this pump, primarily because I didn’t like the chuck. Had I known I could add the speed chuck, I might’ve kept it. It was otherwise a pretty good unit.
    Also, the instructions that Lezyne provides for these things are wholly inadequate. I figured out how to use it but no thanks to the simple pdf diagram they provide.
    I’m going to get the Topeak Joe Blow booster, which is similar. I’ve tried one that a friend owns and liked that better.
    Great video though. Thanks.

      The jow blow booster is a very good pump as well.
      Thanks for watching!

      I am going to buy a canister pump. What are you pros and cons with your JoeBlow pump?

    • @DumbDogIsDumb

      @@michaelyoung5071
      The Joe Blow has been good. It has worked well without issues and seems well built.
      The only real cons are that it’s expensive and it’s big.

    • @DumbDogIsDumb
      @DumbDogIsDumb 2 місяці тому

      @@michaelyoung5071 It’s been fine up to now and has worked well the few times I’ve used it to seat a tubeless tire. Works fine as a regular pump too, but I mostly use a smaller one for simply adding air.
      The main con would be the cost. It’s also kind of big, but that’s to be expected.

    This pump cannot measure my current wheel pressure?

    • @AndreasIhm
      @AndreasIhm  4 місяці тому

      Hardly, you must make sure there is always air in the chamber before opening the valve which will then allow you to monitor the pressure. Thanks for your comment: I never thought of using the pump for that. I’d use another pump for that or keep a digital pressure gauge handy. Thanks for watching.

      I just realized this about 2 minutes ago, and I'm pretty pissed off about it needing a separate gauge to go along with my $150 pump. Trash.

    I BET THIS WILL NOT SEAT A BRAND NEW MTB TIRE

    • @michaelyoung5071
      @michaelyoung5071 3 місяці тому

      Why not? It puts out 160 psi?
      Do you think the canister is not large enough for the higher volume MTB tirw?
