The Ekzykes dragon rot breath is op as hell. The rot tick can legit kill a boss.
Can confirm. Made a dragon paladin build and proceeded to rot any and all bosses that could be. Overall 9/10 would cheese with again.

@@estebanflores1427 I’m using a spell caster/ power stance scythe faith build from a UA-camr named Moxsy. I’ve tweaked it a bit as I’ve gotten higher level but it’s a seriously fun build.
What should the Faith Arcane level up be? Should you focus more on one or the other to make the most out of the breaths? Mainly asking due the dragon communion seal scaling with arcane and boosting dragon spells
@@Dragofrost7777 Arcane 100% the scaling is pretty crazy and you also have the added bonus of having access to some solid bleed build options, if that interests you.
One key thing to note with the dragons on horseback is that the fire breath starts on the right more. So you want to always run in on the left for maximum safety

I'm literally running a dex-str-fai-vig-end build (so nothing even remotely capped) and I shred my way through just about anything in NG+.

@@darklustgamingchannel4535 actually wrong. I been plowing through bosses with faith spells. Beat the lichdragon second try by throwing fireballs with the right talismans. Also stone of gurranq has been destroying rune bosses easy with high poise dmg and lightning spear is great for sniping or bossing
So the giant dragon, Greyoll, is actuaally the mother of dragons. And i recommend not killing her using bleed, after she roars she takes half the health of all the baby dragons and each one you kill does a couple thousand damage to her, until she's one hit from death (and still won't defend). the baby dragons are super easy to stagger and great for farming earlier in the game, but you lose that easy farm if you kill the mother early
Hit her tail with bleed weapon then when it twitches run back on torrent to the grace and rest and the dragon will still be there good early farm
The rot dragons ability has gotten me through alot of boss fights because rot damage ticks are very strong and very long.
Perfect for killing any high tier running annoying enemy as well, but the trade off of being stationary and well the dragon head making it hard to see is pretty high against other enemies.
Few other dragons im surprised wasnt mentioned is ezyklye something he’s the rot dragon and very difficult but all dragons are weak to bleed damage so if you have a bleed proc sword or kukuri’s you can use those as well
Adulla is another one as part of the moonlight greatsword quest , if you kill her you get a spell and a dragon heart.
Magma wyrms count as drops for dragon hearts and theres one on the main path, the one in josh’s video the other day lets you learn its breath attack and theres one in a cave right near rotview cabin that drops a pretty neat katana as well and a dragon heart.
Side note dragon maw is pretty powerful cause im doing like 1k to like most enemies

I have the dragon breath and have it equipped In the bottom left of my screen but it’s greyed out. How do I use it? I already have 15faith and 12Arcane

my second guess is either you in a no fight area or your mp bar is too low to use it

Nah fam, she’s suffering because of the scarlet rot… it was a mercy kill.
The cool thing about the dragon rot breath is that you can stack regular poison on to enemies as well. You could literally just stand there and watch the bosses health bar disappear.
Is rot breath or ekzykes’s decay better?
@@patrickmoney1894 I'm not sure damage wise, but the regular one uses less fp and the ekzyke's breath has a wider area.

@@kronicmg8489 you might need to free up memory slots for them, some spells and incantations require multiple slots

I love Dragons and being an Dexterity, Faith Dragonfighter in a Heavy Armor is awesome. (Getting one shooted by Dragonlord)
A side note, there is at least one dragon that doesn't give a new incantation at the alter and that's because they drop it upon death, however upon dropping to 90% hp they fly away to just west of the capital and only can be fought at noon. Annoying when you die to them a lot, but they use a ton of cool looking moves and the incantation they drop requires 40 faith.
@Bignuke87 Correct, that particular dragon that is in the atlus plateau drops both a dragon heart and its unique ability so you can use its dragon heart for ekzykes ability. Btw, its ability requires 40 faith.

@@GxGNoir if you went the long away around to fight the magma dragon to skip the lift shit the dragon will jump you when you finally get to the otherside and try going up the hill
For anyone wanting to not cheese the big Dragon, killing the little ones that start on half health are how you do that. Kill enough of them and it dies.
I was just killing them because I could, didn't even know that was how you did it, and he just died on me. big surprise.
@@TheClargest haha not surprised that happened to someone, I only noticed bcos if you're looking at the right time after killing one of them, the big dragons health appears and takes a chunk of damage.
Do you get a power from the giant dragon that can move or is it just 5 hearts?
@@Mounthuapleb5890 yeah you only get the hearts but you get that dragons incantation unlocked for purchase.
A little bit of tip, you can also get dragon heart by killing magma wrym, idk how many of them are there but i just fought one (the one that gave u moonveil katana) and get 1 dragon heart
The boss that drops moonveil also give you a dragon’s heart so you can knock out 2 birds with 1 stone if you want moonveil
If you’re doing a faith build use black flame on the big dragon that gives five hearts it’s much faster than trying to bleed
I tried fighting one of the four winged dragons, but the first one I encountered just vanished.
I know of two dragons that vanish intentional after dropping to 50 percent hp. Might be the one you fought
That dragon actually can appear in different areas. That aren’t too far away. Scout the area to find them
The dragon stuff is awesome! I've been going through the game with a dragon /status build using daggers and the dragon incantations.
I would gladly cheese that big dragon, but mildly worried it might be part of some kinda quest or something

I need to know how to get that pure faith weapon I saw in another of your videos. It showed the location but not how to get there.
For those also wanting to do a build like this u would need the "dragon communion seal" (boosts the power of dragon incantations) which is found in the tutorial zone behind the stoneward gate (u need 2 of them) as u try to run away from the chariot trap ur'll turn a corner and itll give u 2 ways to go and u want to go the path that leads upward (downwards leads to a very hard optional boss with a OP spirit reward) u will come across a npc white phantom lookin guy kill him and he'll drop the Seal for u....(the Seal also scales with Arcane and at +5 its S rank scaling)
The only pure faith weapon I know of is found in the round table area.
You jump down into the big hall where the npc invades your game, however when you drop down there's an entrance on the left, go through that and take the first left turn and after the first right turn.
This will lead to a room with an item which is this weapon. Requires 30 faith, 0 weight, only deals holy damage and its skill is a thrust which cannot be blocked.
Keep in mind that even if you hug the wall when grabbing this the npc from the main hall will still invade and hunt you down.

To maximise this dragon builds effectiveness id suggest a 40/40 split in faith and arcane, idk if there are good weapons for that settup but that sound like a dragon build to me...

That ancient big dragon isn't just old it has the Rot curse it's sick and dying!
Actually you can farm that giant dragon as a lvl 3 wretch dealing 13k with the basic mace. found in the broken carriage near the bridge south of limgrave
Just make sure you got torrent to run through & avoid enemies.
Talking of wolf powers can you guys make a video on the Beast spells and equipment, that is gained by doing the Beast-Clergyman-Gurranqs sidequests (trading deathroots)
I think you may have missed one good ser, one is (Spoiler Alert for those who do not know) at the end of Rani's side quest which is amazing btw, you encounter this dragon when reaching her rise but escapes at first but you encounter it again at the end, I believe there are a little more dragons at Caelid after your mentions to get hearts but I have not killed them . . . yet.

Im glad getting the dragon breath lol. It can cheese certain annoying boss, it had huge damage lol. Just make sure you had enough mana bar, had tanky summons, plus safe enough from any boss hit lol
Dragonmaw is strong af , hard to hit with, and easy to dodge in pvp , but I you land it , it can one shot a 60 vigor player.
Real question is how you got that one to work I can interact with it but it dose nothing

Why isn’t the game letting me activate the altar? I’ve killed Agheel but every time I try to “examine altar” it does the animation but nothing happens. Tried it on two characters. Any advice?

@@kuro3593 The fix I discovered is to place the heart in your item chest at the site of grace there, then examine the altar. Not sure why but it worked. Then you can take the heart back out again and it should continue working

Once u turn in enough dragon hearts your eyes turn bright yellow and your pupils becomes black slits.

@@patrickmoney1894 ezyckes decay is better, but they're both good. Use rot breath until u can use the decay, then swap.
The big dragon gives five hearts because a few of the dragons around it disappears I think. They did disappear I just don’t know of that’s why.

Always be yourself, unless you can be a dragon, in which case always be a dragon.
If you have enough faith and have the black flame abilities use them on the unmoving dragon and it should kill it within 2-5 minutes max

Hey you! Like the vid. Also the babies can't use breath attacks, so they're tasty farming for the early game. Get that I frame training too.
You can cheese some of the wyrm bosses for easy dragon hearts, and other items.. two can be killed through the fog wall..

There is a WAY faster way to kill the big dragon. The little dragons that are around it that you mentioned. One of them (kinda front right of the big one) if you kill it also kills the big dragon. Was farming the little ones for runes and then the big one was just dead. And I hadn't touched him because I wanted them to respawn.

I did co op today, the guys regular Dragons Breath (Scarlet rot) added 8k damage to the Dragon in the icey lake....
I've killed most of the dragons and it says I have unlocked new powers but when I go to the church it still is just the three starting abilities. Tf am I doing wrong?

Their incantations, and seals scale off faith, so faith is the main stat, and just upgrading the dragon communion seal and using the talismans for charge times is what I think is the best idea off the top of my head

For no reason at all I decided upon buying Rot Breath for my first playthrough build. Best choice I made cause holy it works wonders on basically anything

The dragon is a she, Elder Greyoll. And no, she is not part of any quest. She's simply there as a boss and a pretty cool view. She's too old and heavy to move anymore, that's the lore behind it.

I'm so weak I can't even kill the lake dragon, I'm at level 43, it's hard to level up I found the portal to the dragon area killed the sleeping dragon but it didn't gave me that much exp my weapons don't do enough damage

Nothing honestly, just so long as you don’t let the monsters of Caelid touch you. Though it is still recommended that you pick up the gold-pickled fowl foot first for the bonus runes

I dont think so, you can try scaling it though. Dragon magic scales mostly on faith so try leveling faith and maybe arcane and you'll do more damage with them

I‘m literally hunting all dragons to get enough hearts. One spell I‘m missing costs 3 dragon hearts and you need it for a trophy -.- idk where to find more dragons, some don’t drop hearts :(

If you kill the old giant dragon all the other dragons disappear other than the bosses so all the baby dragons will disappear therefore making your world more empty

Wow, holy f*ck. Thanks brah, Im sitting on 10 hearts and have all 3 of the dragon incantations that you can get from the communion. So I been constantly going BACK to the communion thinking dragon spells have updated and I'm constantly being shat down with a big fat no. Now I know the rest of the incantations are obtainable from the cathedral instead, and the more cooler, mess basic, stronger ones at that. So thanks ally brah! I'm like a year + late to the game. So I'm learning everything just now haha.
