Thanks for doing such a great job of showing us the contemporary resort. I have never stayed there but did visit when I stayed at Fort Wilderness campground. You were right about the shops there they seem to have some items other shops don’t. I hope you had the chance to see the fireworks from the 15th floor it is awesome.

We stayed at the contemporary last summer. It was great. The convience of the short 10 minute walk to the magic kingdom is the best part of staying there. Not having to wait in long lines for the monorail is amazing. 😊

Ok, I will admit - I did not expect the bathroom to look quite that nice 😂 Love the monorail overlay on the mirror! We’ve stayed at a handful of the deluxe resorts at WDW, but never any of the resorts on the monorail loop. Before the Incredibles refurb, the Contemporary always struck me as being the least Disney-fied of all the resorts at a similar price point, and likely our lowest priority for a future stay. Post-refurb, though, it’s a much more appealing option! 😍 I do miss the Wave (which became Steakhouse 71) but overall I think the changes made to the Contemporary over the years have made it much more - well, Contemporary! 😂 Great day for a perimeter tour on property, too! Gotta love those early resort mornings before the majority of people have woken up and started roaming about. Great tour, KP! ✨

If you got front it with pleasure ok I did stay there many years ago and loved it but then I got the lower room in the year 1993 spent 6 days for 2,378 dollars. I know it was a lucky day I just walked in the lobby and just ask if they can give me a better price then the out of Disney grows and they did I did the contemporary garden room and had a magical time

We stayed in a garden wing room and never went back. Farthest room from lobby(long hike) and was in need of a refurb. Those incredible themed rooms look super nice though.

The theme park view 2 queen bed right now is more than $1000 a night, so I end up canceling it and going to Ritz Carlton, which even saved me more than $1000, which is a true luxury hotel with Michelin restaurants and great interior design

I stayed at the contemporary in November 1977 and it was only 85 dollars a night then now it cost alot more now lol❤❤❤❤❤
I stayed there as a kid and it was ok until I got sick. lol It is interesting how outside the room it is kind of noisy but when inside the room it is quiet and do not hear anything like the monorail.

Love your channel, but Price? Worth the price? No mention of price in the video. I was waiting for your amazing dynamic breakdown of what the room costs and maybe how you saved a little money by being a passholder. Would have loved to hear your opinion on the price of staying in this room. Otherwise, great tour of the property top to bottom. I stayed there in the 80's in a Garden room and it was a blast back then as well. California grill is very good when I went back as an adult and we loved seeing the fireworks from the rooftop balcony and walkway. If you ever run into Adam the Woo in the Contemporary ask him to show you the 5 legged Goat in the giant Mural on the wall.
My family and I loved staying there last year. Your video makes us miss it even more. Just a quick correction though: You said you can only mobile order and/ or eat at Contempo if you are staying there. I don't think that's right. I DO know that anyone can come to eat there regardless of staying on property. That's how it was on our last trip last September. All restaurant services on Disney Properties are open to anyone. There are vloggers down in Florida who don't buy park tickets or stay on property but show videos of eating there and other Disney hotel restaurants all the time.
Glad you had a great stay!! As of not too long ago they did start putting a notification in the My Disney Experience app that for the Contempo Cafe only it is for resort guests. All other restaurants are of course for everyone!
I see what you mean. We just did a bit more research and you are right. Just to clarify though, the Disney site says that you can only order on the My Disney Experience app form the Contempo if you are staying there, so yes. The app notice can change on this matter from day to day, likely depending on hotel capacity. But anyone can just walk up to order. While your point is accurate, as a general (unofficial) rule, the staff at Contempo tend to serve anyone without verifying you are a hotel guest.@@TheKrystalPalace

Its probably a little over 20 minute drive to the all stars. Yes this is Deluxe resort
