This is such an awesome video! I live in London and me and my family are coming here on march 31!!! I haven't been on holiday abroad since 2014 when we went to Egypt. I cannot even put into words how excited I am, we are staying for 10 days in this hotel! We have got universal and Disney tickets! It's also my first time in America so im so hyped! I have a lil widget on my phone counting down the days left, I legit can't wait im so excited!!!!! We are flying out of London Heathrow at 2PM with air Canada to Montreal, Canada. We have a 6 hour layover here then we go on air Canada again to Orlando international airport and land in Florida at 11PM!
I absolutely love your channel, and how detailed your review was at describing cabana bay hotel.. plus I love the way you say RETRO LOL. This is the best hotel at universal Orlando when it comes to value. I was there on February, and to me it’s better than the royal pacific resort.
Excellent tour! We had a rough stay at CB over a quick there-and-back trip in 2021 and have not been able to shake the bad taste it left in our mouths. The staff was wonderful, but we just kept running into issue after issue with room, resort, pools and dining. After about 20 videos from all of our friends and fellow vloggers praising Cabana Bay for wonderful stay(s), though, I think I have officially been convinced to give the resort another chance 😂 That Volcano Bay view is something else!
Sorry to hear you had a bad time. I stayed there a year before you did and my only complaint was I got one of the VERY popular rooms (it had a great view of Volcano Bay at night, did you know the volcano lights up at night?). The carpet had clearly seen better days and the room clearly was a favorite among guests. It was definitely comfortable and modern, it's just that everyone seems to want it! I guess I was lucky to get it before people started asking for it. Also, I went in January during off season so that may be why nobody was beating a path to the front desk for that room...

Anyway could you please help, I was wondering what room number you had at Cabana bay with that fantastic volcano view, I caught it was floor 11 but didn’t see a room number. I'm kinda nervous about the crowd levels once Epic Universal officially opens. True, they will have a few hotels in the new theme park but some will still stay at the originals to get fast access to both parks. I hope Universal offers an "all parks included" ticket for one slightly discounted price so visitors can see Universal and EU.

I always stay at Sapphire Falls when I’m there. I’ve wanted to stay at Cabana Bay, but I read and hear so many mixed reviews regarding the resort it keeps me from staying there. I think when I’m there this spring I’ll have to go over and look around.
@@TheKrystalPalace Oh ok, thanks for telling me. I can afford that, but just don't want to spend that much for a hotel stay. The most I paid for 2 nights at a hotel before was $198.96 in Philadelphia back in 2020, and that hotel had no weight room, no computer room, no pool, (I'm not into swimming, but I know others enjoy it) and no dining room. I only paid for it since it was the cheapest one I could find close to the airport.

Do y’all find those fridges cold enough to store milk? I’m putting together a list of things for the room but don’t want the milk to spoil
Im not sure if milk would work in these standard rooms- cant speak for suites though. The fridges are really just for “chilling”

Nice hotel! I've never stayed at a resort hotel when traveling on my own from 2013-present. I just wonder how much your hotel room costed per night.
It was about $180 per night with the annual passholder discount rate
