Mine just arrived yesterday, as a replacement from the Microsoft ergonomic (not the new one, the large older one) which I had for 4 years or so. That was like my 5th one of those over the decades, and I loved it. This new Logitech one though, I really think that even for double the money, it was a good buy. It's taking a little bit to get used to the slightly different layout, but my typing speed is already back up to my normal 60+ wpm. When my MS started acting funky, I swapped to a wireless Logitech standard layout that I use when composing/playing music, as the MS one was wired and my music keyboards and guitar rig is a fair distance away from my computer. However, with the standard flat and straight layout, for me, at least, is hard to type on. I imagine I'd get used to it again, as after all I learned on a manual typewriter (for you kids, it's like a keyboard and printer all in one. Heavy, and rather unwieldly; they didn't have modern electronics back then...yeah, I'm old) but I like the ergonomic keyboards. I think that this new Logitech is far superior to my older MS ergo kbd. Way quieter, and lighter both in weight and in touch needed to actuate the keys. And the cherry on top is that it's wireless!

Great video. Thanks! So I'm used the command P feature on my macbook air but when I'm doing the same on the logitech keyboard it is simply giving me the pie symbol?? π Help... Also, I"m so curious what is the calculator button supposed to do lol I immediately pressed it when you said you loved it but nothing fantastic happened.
Command P is printing the current document. If it's not working as usual, try downloading the Logitech Options software and configure your keys accordingly. Same with the calculator button, it should open the calculator app. It sounds like you are using a Mac so it should work. If you are on an iPad set up then it won't work because iPad don't have calculators.
Oh Good Lord- I meant Command V - to paste (√) this is what I get instead of what I copied to paste. Apparently I have to use the opt/start key and V in order to paste on this keyboard after playing around with it. Yep I use a MacBook Air and the app does not open when I hit the calculator button (not the end of the world but I'm with you- that is kinda cool)
I haven't used it but I think it looks like a nice keyboard at a more affordable price. I do appreciate how the numeric keyboard is separate, I would put it on the right side of my mouse for better mousing ergonomics.

I got this keyboard a couple of months ago. It appears the question mark button stopped working recently. Im not sure if it happened during a patch or an update, or is simply a media function that I accidentally got myself on, but do you know how I can fix it
How to do a "screen shot" of typed items or pics using the Logitech Ergo K860 keyboard? (Currently unable to get the usual Windows 10 "Ctl + Alt + S" to enable the "screenshot" funciton to work [despite heeding the "fn + P" instructions to activate Microsoft features].)
I've used this for a couple of years, and now the middle key to select which laptop gets the keystrokes is blinking. How do I fix this? Also, I notice a circular array of buttons on the jellycomb keyboard. are those arrow keys?
Thank you for good FAQ, I have always problems with printed keyboards by Logitech or whatever manufacturer, I just bought R-Go split keyboard and in one week of use letter J is already looking signs of wear, I think it will vanish in couple months or year.
Surprised no "questions" about the auto-off timeout (spoiler alert, it's stupidly short) or how long it can take to reconnect (another spoiler, it can often take quite a few seconds...at which point it will spray your computer all at once with all the keystrokes you pounded into it trying to wake it up). This keyboard would be amazing...if it had a wired option. The wireless setup is an annoying PITA that can't be adjusted and frequently times out just because you dared use the mouse for a moment and it went to sleep. I love/hate this thing. It's the most ergonomic, comfortable keyboard I've used...and yet the horrible wireless setup is beyond frustrating to work around.
I have one of these keyboards, and the spacebar has stopped working. I removed the key and it s clean below. Does anyone have any suggestion on how I can fix it
I am very curious about what the actual shortcut keys are more so does. It have cut copy paste and if not. How easy is it to program to where it's a one button touch and not half to use function
Random times, when i'm typing, no matter what letter I press, it will insert another letter at the beginning and it won't type normally. I have to close out or refresh the browser, then reopen it to fix it. I don't have Sticky Keys on or anything. Could you do a video on how to open up the keyboard to clean it out? Keys may need to be cleaned, and the rubber thing could need to be clean as well.
This seems like a really simple question... but when I'm using the calculator the clear button doesn't seem to do anything? The button itself works because if I hold it down it seems to work just fine as a number lock, which is its second function.
I just purchased this keyboard and I don't understand how to use the F keys. I'm unable to figure out how to use the print screen keys. I have petite hands so this keyboard doesn't require me to stretch my fingers to reach the keys as other ergo keyboards. Thank you for the review.

I've been using the Microsoft sculpt keyboard for a few years, how do you think it would stack up to the K860?
I haven't used it but I think it looks like a nice keyboard at a more affordable price. I do appreciate how the numeric keyboard is separate, I would put it on the right side of my mouse for better mousing ergonomics.
A switch for turning on/off a keyboard is very handy for people with cats 🐈😺
Very true! I have a cat as well, she's a bit too old to be jumping up on the desk tho. Thanks for the comment!
where is the number lock key on the keyboard?
Thanks for the video! One question I did not see addressed, how do you 'printscreen' without the button? :)
There is a printscreen button. If it doesn't work for you, try these recommendations. answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/print-screen-button-doesnt-work-all-of-a-sudden/76a05911-c4e3-43d4-b592-625bfb6f6025
How do you backslash on this keyboard, cant find any documentation anywhere?
Hi Alex, the backslash is located right above the Enter key. Thanks for the comment! Let me know if there is anything else I can assist with.
16. Can I connect only using bluetooth without unified receiver?
Yes you can
I don't like your thumbs >:(
Can you tell me how to clean the foam padded part?
Water and a microfibre cloth
Where is the number lock button located
does ergo k860 support Ubuntu?
Very informative and excellent review!
Thanks for the comment!
Thank you for your review. I just got one and I'm trying to capture my screen on my mac and the sft+cmd+4 does not work. How can I print my screen?
Does anyone have any suggestion on how I can fix it
Where is the botton that clears the screen.
Regarding the French question - you can buy a European version of this keyboard. (And they are generally cheaper!!)
Can one the buttons at the bottom of keyboard be reprogammed as a Menu Key? (not Windows start but Right click of mouse)
hello! how do you use the clear button instead of the numlock key above number 7 on the logitech K860?
I just purchased this keyboard and I don't understand how to use the F keys. I'm unable to figure out how to use the print screen keys. I have petite hands so this keyboard doesn't require me to stretch my fingers to reach the keys as other ergo keyboards. Thank you for the review.
Just bought mine and can't figure out if there is a Windows key so I can put one window on the left side of my monitor and another window on the right side.
How you torn off the the multifunction in the F keys. I use F2 a lot and o not like to have tor press the fn key to use the F2 key. Thanks
Thank you, it's was very useful with the you answering the question, NEW FOLLOWER!!
Is there a pause / break button on the keyboard? No where to be found
It is not evident to find the ON/OFF button. Thank you
Awesome informative video, thx :) does this keyboard require driver software to work? and will it work with a debian PC?
Hi, I have reached out to logitech 3 weeks ago and they have yet to respond with an answer. I can say you don't need a driver but it is recommended to access full features of the keyboard. As for the Debian, still waiting a response.. sorry for the delay.
@@CoreyStaden Thank you so much for the effort, don't worry about it, I asked because I was looking at it as a Christmas present for my brother (who is a programmer who suffers with RSI) and I got one anyway because it was available second hand, and tried it with my PC first (also a linux install) and it seemed to work fine with no drivers so I gave it to him. He's happy so far, so the answer to my own questions are as follows:
no it doesn't require a driver, but to use Bluetooth it requires a motherboard with Bluetooth compatibility
Yes it works with linux (tested on Mint, Ubuntu and Debian)The USB dongal is just standard USB protocol so it will work with any USB compatible PC
@@MadHalflingInventor thanks for sharing the information! What a great gift idea👌
@@CoreyStaden No problem :)
I had problems, without the downloaded sw I could not use it with USB receiver... I tried many given ways - given in the box and given on the official website. Additionally they told different ways. So first I was very angry. My rapoo four ways mouse was ok for the first try after inserting the dongle... But the good news is: It can work from the next room trough closed door well with the USB dongle. The distance is about 4m.
Is there a back space key feature for the numeric keypad?
Hey, do u know how to clean the keyboard?
How do you clean it?
Compressed air should do the trick. Alternatively, remove plastic enclosure, get a key cap remover and remove each cap, then blow/dust away.
Very good content! tks
Thanks for the comment. Much appreciated!
Does it connect to iPad??
Yes, the k860 will connect to iPads.
Do you know what key to use to clear a screen?
is there a sleep button?
Hi Mike, unfortunately there is no sleep button on the K860.
I remapped the lock key (the one on the very top right corner) of my Ergo K860 as the sleep button using the Logitech Options
How do you do key repair?
Thank you! My K860 "died" but I learned from your video that there's an on/off switch!
Glad I can be of service!!
