My ex husband killed an innocent bystander that stopped him from killing me. He only got 11 years. I had to relocate 3000 miles away, change my name and leave my life behind because he had the "If I can't have you no one can" attitude. He and his family bad mouthed me and blamed me. Even though he did the same to his first wife. Thankfully I got away with my life but it changed who I am. Sometime that's sad. Thanx for being the voice of those who no longer have one.
Honestly the part about how his family behaved after his execution was one of the most infuriating things in this video for me. How can ppl be so awful.
Imagine giving birth to a male… IMAGINE birthing an actual male 😭😭😭 as in her psy destroyed all for a male and he comes out like this? I PREY I NEVER GET A SON 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😖 Bc in case you still haven’t noticed.. ITS ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYYYYYYSSSS A DAM Male ALWAYS.
Exactly! If I was his mother, I’d disown him… I’d be embarrassed of myself for raising a “son” so heinous and just evil and violent. I’d apologize to the victim’s family to no end and expect no forgiveness from them honestly, just that they know that I do not side with a monster like him… Honestly makes me so disgusted someone would defend him…
The culture of victim blaming again infuriated me and sickens me And sorry even if she had been cheating or a gold digger does not enable some narcistic parasitic male to brutally murder her !
Literally… It’s just sick how they said that with their whole chest and wanted the entire fucking country to believe their lies when he was and is still the problem…
yeah and it seems her family actually was well off. I mean they bought her an apartment in the city. Why would she ask strangers when she has a family and the obvious a job and a stable income. Netizens are something else
Bystander effect: that's why we, in germany, don't cry "Help me", we cry out to one of the bystanders: " Hey you in the Red shirt! Please help me!" And that mostly works!
Omg every time I hear about the bystander affect on a case I always think omg if they could’ve just made eye contact with just one bystander and beg them for help maybe that would work cuz ur singling out one specific person and maybe that will compel them to help
I’ve heard that too, or you have to physically point at someone and say “you call 911” point to someone else “you hold the wound” ect. coming from the US. As a woman, we’re also taught to not scream “help me” anyway, because it doesn’t help much.
I remember they tried to teach us this one year at school. To point to a specific person and tell them to call for help. By the next year we were back to scream your head off, fight like hell, beg for help, and hope at least one bystander has sense.
Please, never feel sorry for your abuser! I see so many victims that could have survived if they haven't tried to save their abusers! F*** them! Young girls are trained to be kind and forgiven, but we need to learn how to not take shit from anyone, specifically from partners!
Easier said than done sometimes. Our minds are so messed up. It's insane how difficult it is just going to the police, it physically hurts thinking "they'll be in jail". The amount of gaslighting we do to ourselves is just... Exhausting.
Yes, they’re not worth it at all. When my friends and family feel bad about someone doing them wrong, I always ask them “Were they feeling this way about you, before doing what they did?” Usually works. I understand however, that it can be different in a DV situation.
@OMundoParaIniciantes SOOO RIGHT!!❤️❤️❤️❤️💯 I GOT AWAY FROM 4 OF THEM! U NEVER REALLY KNOW WHO UR WITH UNTIL UR PUT IN A SITUATION AND SEE WHAT THEY DO TO HELP U OR NOT AND MAKE IT WORSE FOR U. (LIKE GETTING U AWAY FROM FAMILY AND FRIENDS IS A RED FLAG FIRST OFF) IF ANYONE COMES IN UR LIFE, AND UR LIFE WAS BETTER BEFORE THEY CAME INTO UR LIFE.... THEN LEAVE BEFORE U GET ATTATCHED... LEAVE! THERE ARE SOO MANY GREAT GUYS OUT THERE... THE BAD BOY THING IS NOT HOTT ANYMORE. IT'S JUST NOT. 💯🫂🫂🫂🙏 🫶 LOVE YA'LL!❤️❤️
@@ville-c4uI want you to look in the mirror and have a really hard think on why you feel this way and why you thought it’d be a good thing to comment some bullshit like this. Please seek help if you feel like someone shouldn’t feel sympathy for someone’s passing through a heinous crime. Grow the fuck up, please.
so horrible to hear how the public didn’t try to help. the shopkeeper must’ve been so brave to try to stand up to a man with a knife. i remember being a kid and being taught in school to call out to specific people to put responsibility onto so they’ll feel more inclined to help
She seems so gentle and sweet. She was exceptionally unlucky. My heart breaks for her. As a dancer, and especially to children, she was so open to others and unfortunately this made her very vulnerable.
i absolutely lost it when you said her mother still cleans her room because my mom does the same even when I'm away. its heartbreaking how deeply she loves her daughter. Rest in Peace Qiaofeng 🕊
I just left a relationship like this. I’m so drained, aged and broken. I’ll never make that mistake again. The love bombing was strong. What I thought were genuine gifts and gestures were actually itemized loans or favors that needed to be returned for abuse. Don’t ignore the red flags!!!!!!!!!
I'm so thankful you are here with us. I know all to well how draining it is to be with someone abusive. Please stay safe. Single life isn't so bad. Hard to trust when you've lived in hell. Take care of yourself and don't feel like you have to rush. Be good to you. You deserve it love.
Accepting gifts, accepting offers to fix things like a car, a house problem, accepting money. Having sympathy sex.... All these things send a signal that you don't REALLY want to break ties. When you want things to stop. When you want it to be over. You have to refuse ALL contact. And... if you have reason to fear the person, be prepared to defend yourself. Or... move away for an extended amount of time. If it saves a life...your own or your family members life... it is worth it. This creep was a danger to her and anyone who attempted to come between them. Even a puppy.
I went through similar. My ex used to send me to panic and feed me etc..pretending to be nice. Luckily it finished. However, not all guys are like this. My advice don't get married too young, don't trust a man who seems too good to be true, focus on yourself.
I think that could become a slippery slope. In theory it would be great but what one judge might not think is victim blaming, another might think even the smallest thing is. The law is already tricky with some things
Too much human behaviour has been criminalised. You can't just criminalise bad behaviour, there is just so much "bad behaviour". What you can do is show social disdain. If individuals feel that such behaviour is socially unacceptable and people express this civilly, don't follow their social media /unsubscribe to accounts which victim blame etc this will establish a better standard of conduct (maybe).
Exactly!! How could they do that when there’s so much evidence of the callousness of the crime and the fact she had already passed!! It’s honestly disgusting how fast people are at blaming the victims. Because I’d rather defend a liar than a murderer or rapist.
I hear so many young women from South Korea and Japan not getting married and not having children. No wonder why, as you can see in this case, the parents of the man blamed the woman for what happened to her? Their boys cannot do anything wrong in many patriarchal cultures.
And that’s why the 4B movement is not ‚too extreme‘ considering the literal rape culture in SK. It makes me angry that some western women think they can start the same type of extreme movement in countries like the US. Metoo is fitting for the US but a 4B movement in response to Trump winning is insulting af.
@@hayleyscott5355comparing a country like the US to this is absolutely disgusting and extremely offensive. They kill daughters in China because of the preference for sons. Western people are so privileges and refuse to accept
Some parents can’t stop babying their children that they can’t see no wrong in them even though someone is telling them what happened & what they did wrong
From what I've heard about the bystander effect is also that when there is many people everyone thinks that someone else is going to or should help so they don't do anything themselves, but because most people in a group think like that it ends with no one doing anything, which is horrifying.
Bystanders are just as guilty as perpetrators, just of a different horrendous crime. There’s many places where you can be charged for being a bystander, if only the rest of the world was like that
@@mssssssssssssssi think it's difficult. there's such a lack of education. people go through their lives not expecting to be in a position where things are real. the system doesn't make it easy either, helping can easily turn into a prison sentence for yourself.
This breaks my heart. She didn't deserve any of this. She sounded like such an amazing young woman. Rest in peace sweet angel. Please leave. Red Flags aren't your imagination. If you are in danger seek help please.
This one really tore me up. The way they just watched her go and blamed her so baselessly... she seemed so sweet. She was only a year older than I and I still feel like a child sometimes. She was so young. Just unbelievable. I feel so deeply for her family, I couldn't imagine recovering from something such as this myself but I hope they are doing the best they can.
the family of that guy piss me off!! No wonder he grew up a monster if they stood by him and then harassed the victim's family. Also I would not be surprised if they knew the horrible way he treated her but made no attempt to console their son about his horrible actions all to keep the money flowing their way...
I understand how Chen's mom feels. You don't recover from losing your child. I lost my 24-year-old son Cameron in 2023. Losing him has destroyed me. I'm never going to be okay...how can I be!?! Somehow I just have to learn to coexist with this agonizing pain.💔
I'm so sorry for your loss, Carol... Grief is not something that just goes away, but we learn to live with it over time. Sometimes, without rhyme or reason, it'll come back in full swing again, but it'll be triggered less and less as the years go by. Being able to notice ourselves smiling at their memory rather than breaking down.. The loss doesn't go but our strength to continue on in their memory grows. ❤
This is classic stalker/obsession case, he was so manipulative and controlling….so terrifying as she did what she could to leave him but he made it impossible. He was a very evil man, threatening her dog? I can’t believe no one else stopped him stabbing her! He should have been in jail before it got to the point of him killing her. The fact his family blamed his victim speaks to how he ended up so self centred
It's so sick that people were taking pictures of HER BODY as she was dying and after dying! That's disgusting. People don't know how to leave people alone. And I HATE that so many people blamed her for her own death. Yidong was the gold digger, not her! Such disgusting misogyny! And his family is just as bad as he was! Maybe that's how he became the way he was. There are truly evil people in every country in this world.
It says a lot about the environment he grew up in if they’re willing to smear a girls name who their child murdered. My heart is broken for her and her family
It’s terrifying how many crazed psychopaths like that man are around who abuse and control their wives/partners with grave outcomes like qiao fang’s brutal demise 😣as it only worsens quickly and the most dangerous consequence is breaking up with them and what he did to the poor dog was absolutely vile 🤬🤬huge respect and thank you so much for sharing with us el I am so proud of the fact you are such a popular UA-camr so lovely to see ☺️☺️also raising awareness of domestic abuse in relationships as thousands of men and women have died at the hands of these vicious sickos nobody should have to go through such a nightmare her poor family can’t even begin to imagine how grief stricken they must be after this awful ordeal 😖😖😖be so careful whom you date /marry ladies/gentlemen‼️‼️
I was told that if being attacked in a crowded area point to someone or multiple people and say “you help me”, then they will feel it’s their personal responsibility. I was taught this in primary school
This is actually really interesting. In my psychology class we learned about the bystander effect in which no one feels they don't need to intervene because there are other people around. It's happened in murder cases many times.
@JasmineRimaneli go ahead and play around with your life then because if you do this to me I'm not helping I'm freezing. And since you wanna take the chance and put your life on someone specially don't ve mad, upset, or surprised when they pick themselves over you
This case is one of the most heartbreaking ones I've ever heard of. I don't even know what to say. Thank you for sharing the information about this awesome woman and her sad story, and doing it so respectfully, Eleanor.
The bystander effect also theorises that the reason no one helps is that everyone assumes someone else is doing something like calling the police. If someone is hurt, take charge (especially if you know First aid) and give specific instructions to specific people, e.g. "You call the police, and you call an ambulance" Make sure the person knows you are talking to them
I just got out of a relationship exactly like this and I thought for sure I’d be in one of these videos when I left… moved himself in, argued every other day then love bombed me so I would come back. The last time he came back drunk after stealing my car, put hands on me and tried to kick down my front door… cops got me a restraining order but he kept me in his orbit for months after. Finally got out and got the sweetest man now 😭
This was such a a terrible story. My own life I had to live with violence because my ex said he would kill my children. I only escaped him after thirty years when he shot me...I lived he's in prison. I'm so sorry for this beautiful woman and her family R.I.P now love fly free 🤍🕊️🤍🕊️
omg! that is terrible so happy you all are okay and he’s behind bars what an incredibly story and strong woman you are hope he rots and you heal. your children are so lucky to have a mom like you. you are amazing!❤
No wonder he was such garbage of a human being, with parents like that. Ain't even gonna say his name, because he doesn't deserve being mentioned by name. Chen Qiaofeng deserved so much better. I hope she rests in peace and that her mother can live on without blaming herself for what happened...
His parents' reaction to his sentence says a lot. Whenever I hear of a case like that I wonder about these perpetrators, if in their childhood they got a treatment that gave them the idea that they can do whatever they want, and they are entitled to whatever - including people. I did wonder about his parents. And as much as I can appreciate they were devastated, they are also to blame for raising a son who did something so horrible. Apparently he inherited their entitlement.
This case has a lot of aspects that are very similar to an incredibly infamous case that happened here in Egypt. A man was obsessed with this girl, and couldn't just leave her alone. They were not in a relationship though, they were colleagues at college. She turned him down so many times, and explained that she's not interested, but he kept obsessing and stalking her. One day, on her way to college, in broad sunlight around noon, he was stalking her and was particularly hiding and waiting for her to pass by, and suddenly he jumped at her from behind and slit her throat in front of by standers, and the whole murder was caught on a surveillance camera, and was widely ciruclated online. The public actually didn't have time to stop him from murder, the attack was so quick, but they did chase him till they caught him and turned him in when police arrived at the scene. A lot of people also swarmed the area, and were filming the victim and the scene in the aftermath. Another similarity, was that afterwards, the general public blamed the victim for her own murder. It was so mysoginistic, and they made a lot of baseless accusations against her as well, just because she was active on social media, was beautiful, stylish, and had a social life that included men and women in her friends' circles, that was shared on social media. The general public were like: She must've led him on. He must've been so naive and innocent, and she manipulated him. He was just deeply in love, and she must've made fun of his feelings, played him, and took advantage of him and basically used him. She wore revealing clothes and went to parties, so she must've been an immoral promiscuous w**re. (Even though her clothes were not revealing btw, not that there's anything wrong with that, or could be a justification for murder) Even when people were shown proofs that the rumors were baseless and incorrect (again not that any of this shit would've been an excuse for murder) they literally said: well, there must've been a reason, he wouldn't just snap at her like that out of nowhere, she must've done something. He doesn't have a criminal record, so it must've been her fault that he snapped. They wouldn't get convinced that the reason is that he's simply an evil psychopath, who is probably mentally ill. It had to be her fault, even if they couldn't prove it. So, they smeared her name based on supposed moral standards and fictional assumotions. And consquently a lot of people sympathized with the criminal. Oh, and they also went for the victim's family as well, accusing them of "capitalizing on the situation" because they made appearances through the media. Even though the only reaseon they talked to the media was to address the tons of rumors that were spreading by the public regarding their daughter. If the general public just stopped spreading rumors, the family wouldn't have needed to talk to the media as often as they did. This case was so controversial in Egypt. It seemed to me at the time that the only obvious reason they defended the murderer, was because the victim was a woman, and the killer was a man. If tables were turned, and a woman slit a man's throat in daylight, getting caught on camera, showing that it was absolutely deliberate and planned, and there was even stalking involved, and the victim did nothing to evoke any of that, and it was not a self-defense situation, I feel like if the man was the victim, their empathy would've been whole-heartedly with him. And also simiarily, the murderer got executed. Thank God as well that despite all of the media coverage and controversy, the court sided with the victim and sentenced him to death. Keep in mind that in Egypt we don't have the jury sytem, and we don't have the rule that states that whoever is gonna be the judge of the case can't view media on the case. So the judge could legally see all the media coverage and the online debate about the case. So really thank god he was not swayed. Right before the killer was excuted he stated that he was happy because he'd go and be with the victim forever. It's been years, but to this day, a lot of people still defend him, and take his dumbass douche side.
I never knew criminals who were executed for their crimes could donate their organs. Imagine the heart of murderer beating inside of you....what a crazy juxtaposition
As a survivor of an abusive relationship where my ex was very similar to this man. I can’t help but feel for what she was going through. It feels like you’re trapped for eternity, no matter how many times you try to leave. My heart goes out to her and her family. I hope she’s resting in peace ❤
I follow Eleanor for years but never heard such a relatable case. Two years ago I got out of a very similar relationship.. the love bombing, the money draining, the disrespect for the parents, the laziness, the manipulation, the jealousy, the gaslighting, the hovering, the verbal abuse and aggresiveness... it's horrible when you are a very empathetic person and you get attached to a narcissist. They always know how to use your sensibility to their advantage. Gladly I got out of it alive and I healed a lot since then.
This happened here in Vancouver BC where I live. A man was stabbed and murdered right outside of a starbucks, in the middle of downtown. A sick video of the attack surfaced and in it sat multiple people, not even watching, just drinking their coffee as if a man, a father with his child there with him, was murderered. It is sickening.
do people stand by because they expect someone else is going to help? honestly i feel like that might be my mindset if i seen something happen with a bunch of people around, i would probably think “well someone has to step in and do something at some point” not realizing that someone should be ME. that’s so scary, and disappointing.
its actually been recommended by officials that if you do need help in a crowded area, rather than shouting "help help" to shout something like "help - you in the blue shirt" because it is unfortunately so so common to think that someone else will help or that the person isn't talking to you etc. so heartbreaking and terrifying, truly
Great job telling this horrible story. I worry we will hear more tales of subjugated women in the near future. With controlling men being elevated on the international scene, the worst people are emboldened to be abusive. 😢
These cases just makes my blood boil so much because there are just so many resembling this exact situation yet boys (yes not men boys because they lack any maturity) just don’t want to acknowledge them and ‘act’ completely clueless on why women are more distant and guarded towards them. It’s also just sad that a lot of the older generation still feel the need to defend these actions when it is done by a man.
Bystander effect is so real, I remember at work once a guy kept trying to grab me and all the customers just watch me try to fight him off, had to shout one of my co-workers over to help
What a devastating story. It’s heartbreaking to see how someone so full of talent and promise like Chencha Fong could be trapped in such a toxic and dangerous situation. Her tragic fate highlights the terrifying reality of unchecked obsession and abuse. This is a reminder that behind the glamor of social media, there can be unimaginable suffering. A life lost far too soon.
I would never stand by. I would get involved, because of stories like this and the experience of my own assault in public. The vulnerable deserve our protection. Protect. Protect all children, all women, all men and the thems. Unless you're a perpetrator. Perp and traitor gets no assist from me.

May she rest in peace. Hopefully her mother can heal her broken heart, because some man thought he was entitled to dictate and take her sweet daughter's life. Sending prayers to her while family. Love seeing your post Eleanor makes my day
just cuz you are a fully grown adult doesn't mean you will always make wise and responsible decisions. Parents or family must step in to do something for their child. periodt.
how sad that such a lovely person had such a terrifying tragic end. she deserved so much better from society and life and an actual chance to be loved and cared for and experience a truly loving kind partner. the world would’ve shone brighter with her still in it, and it would’ve been amazing to see what else she could’ve accomplished if she got to live her full life.
People pulling out their phones to record a tragedy instead of using it to call for help. Recording along with many others instead of doing something to help. These days it’s sadly a common scenario.
If THIS is how this animal's family and friends reacted to his appalling crime, then I'm not in the least bit surprised he turned out the way he did, and it makes me so angry and upset for the poor, gentle victim and the people she loved 🤬
One of the most gut-wrenching things about this case is what she had to endure the final moments of her life. We all hope to die peacefully, maybe in our sleep, without pain or fear, after a long, full life. That's the best-case scenario for a person. She got the complete OPPOSITE. Before she closed her eyes for the last time, before her entire world went black, all she knew was desperation, fear, and excruciating pain. That gives me a shiver. She didn't just pass out, she didn't just go to sleep and have a lovely dream, she died. That's the saddest thing to me.
a lot of my past partners love bombed me. I have a kid with my last boyfriend, who also love bombed me as well. now I'm in a relationship (my longest one) with a man who isn't love bombing me. sometimes it feels weird being in a healthy relationship when im so used to being showered with affection straight away. I end up causing arguements with my boyfriend because I'm not receiving the same amount of affection my exs used to give me even though its toxic. its addicting and can even ruin good relationships to the point where you may also start being toxic. I feel sorry for this woman, she saw a good side to him and wanted to believe she could help and forgive him. no one should have to go through what she went through and this is probably the only story that has linked so much to my own experience. I hope she's at peace now and I know her students miss her, she was definitely a favourite teacher.
This is so sad but so frustrating. Her parents had to force her away and she could have put him in prison but protected him. She kept the extent of his abuse secret even when living with her parents despite fearing for her life. Her last act was putting herself in danger to keep her friend away from it. My heart goes out to her, she absolutely did not deserve this, but she really was too good for this world and was willing to carry the weight of abuse for the sake of everyone other than herself. It is so hard to leave an abuser and perhaps harder to open up but please, please, please tell your family if you have a good relationship with them or other loved ones if you don't because they would much rather share your burden and get you out than attend your funeral. If you have watched this and are fearing what breaking up with your abusive partner will do, please I beg you reach out to your loved ones or a charity. Fear and manipulation is what keep women in these relationships but if you already know your relationship is abusive then you can break the effect of the manipulation. A lot of the time this only works when you remove yourself though so go to someone you can trust. And unfortunately stalking is a huge problem that the police world wide don't properly deal with so if you get the golden ticket of being able to put your abuser in jail, do it!
OF COURSE he was jealous of her talking to other men/possibly cheating on him: he knew that he wasn't good enough for her. He knew if allowed to talk to other men, she would find someone with a great job, who respected her, and who didn't take advantage of her good nature.
I can say that i had a relationship where 90 percent of what happened to her happened to me and more. I am very lucky to be free now but that stuff stays with you.
If you witness a violent crime and don’t even try to help, then you don’t get to call yourself human anymore. Disgusting. Honestly, bystanders like that should be charged with accessory.
My heart absolutely breaks for her. She was so young and wanted to improve children's education and share her love of dance. She deserved the whole world.
this story really hit home bc my first boyfriend acted almost exactly like him and it took me almost 2 years to get out of the rls AND i had to move across the country, it breaks my heart that she want able to get away and that nobody helped her
Eleanor is right! That man is narcissistic, a loser, and a bum. He donated his organs by making him look like a good person. WRONG! That bastard didn't apologize to Qiaofeng and her family. He sees her as property something owned and controlled. Qiaofeng sounds like a beautiful woman and deserves the love and happiness that comes her way. RIP, Qiaofeng 🌸❤🕊️
This gives me chills. My first relationship lasted 3 years. He burned down a vacant house, sent death threats throughout our school and physically, emotionally and financially abused me. I know if I stayed back then I'd have been dead now. Thank you for giving a voice to those who weren't so lucky. ❤
I did dishes for the first half of the video. The second half I have enjoyed watching and listening. We aren't quite done. From the middle to now you went from 4k views to over 12,500 ❤️ I love watching your videos been a fan for quite a few years now.
Thank you for choosing Idas. They helped me so much and helped me after being attacked by my rapist son my stepbrother. It went down in the police files as domestic violence, and they forwarded me to this chairty. The work they do is amazing. It's also pronounced as i..das as one word. Ladies, if you ever suffer domestic abuse, please seak the help and support that's out there. Do not suffer. Hugs ❤
This case has made me sick to my stomach. Such needless violence due to the fragile ego of one pathetic excuse of a man. its so unfair and I am so angry I
Please research the case of Liam gray, his story was featured on “Britain’s most dangerous kids”, it’s close to me and shocked everybody, it’s an awfully sad case with little explanation :(
No locksmith, in the UK at least, would change the locks on a house or flat/apartment etc without solid proof that the property belongs to the person wanting the locks changed. Obviously I know this didn’t happen in the UK, but still. You would think no matter where this happened that would just be the standard no matter what. I mean, everyone would just be calling locksmiths to break into everything. But regardless, this case is just so heartbreaking. 😢
This is a good example. If you have a partner saying that. Threatening to harm themselves if you don't come back. You cannot save them, another person is not your responsibility, most of us are not qualified to handle that person's personal issues. It's a them problem that has nothing to do with you. Ppl have to want to swim. If you try and save a drowning person, they could drown you too. Those ppl are in a bad head space, volital, if a person does not value their own life, they don't value anyone else's. That's why its so important to love yourself first. You are responsible for making yourself happy. They are responsible for making themselves happy not expecting other ppl to. Even if one was a certified psychologist, it's that person's responsibility to reach out to help. N in a relationship that's not the first objective plus conflict of interest applies in most cases in medical areas. They should personally seek a medical professional that they are not dating b/c of power dynamics. Don't feel obligated.
This case makes me genuinely morose. I can’t even fathom the pain she went through until the very end. It’s unimaginable. I’m glad he is no longer on this earth. May she live on in peace.
Knowing he was violently turbulent emotions, why did she and her family who seems level headed leave the puppy with him? As a sacrifice hoping that would appease him?
u never fail to amaze me eleanor, i appreciate the side notes and also letting us look into another persons culture. i thought the name thing was so interesting and maybe someday i will implement it someday.

His family should be ashamed of themselves, their son was pathetic and they need to accept that
also their behaviour shows that they are one of the reasons why he turned out the way he did

thank you, good tip.
💯
Easier said than done sometimes. Our minds are so messed up. It's insane how difficult it is just going to the police, it physically hurts thinking "they'll be in jail". The amount of gaslighting we do to ourselves is just... Exhausting.
Excelente mensaje para todas las personas, sean hombres o mujeres, i applaud 👏🏽 you
Yes, they’re not worth it at all. When my friends and family feel bad about someone doing them wrong, I always ask them “Were they feeling this way about you, before doing what they did?” Usually works. I understand however, that it can be different in a DV situation.
@OMundoParaIniciantes SOOO RIGHT!!❤️❤️❤️❤️💯

I'm so sorry ❤ you are so strong, wish you all the peace you can get now
I'm so thankful you are here with us.

Wow! You are incredibly strong! I'm very proud that you saw your worth and left x
I went through similar. My ex used to send me to panic and feed me etc..pretending to be nice. Luckily it finished. However, not all guys are like this. My advice don't get married too young, don't trust a man who seems too good to be true, focus on yourself.
I believe that victim blaming should be a crime itself, it's SUPER fucked up!
it should count as harassment.
What next? We criminalise swear words? 🙄
There are many more cultures that put sons on pedestals and it's so sad.
And that’s why the 4B movement is not ‚too extreme‘ considering the literal rape culture in SK. It makes me angry that some western women think they can start the same type of extreme movement in countries like the US. Metoo is fitting for the US but a 4B movement in response to Trump winning is insulting af.
this happens in the USA constantly... it's not just asian countries. sick side of sexism is world wide.
Unfortunately some bystanders don't want to help or get involved. A sad world 🌍 we live in
Bystanders are just as guilty as perpetrators, just of a different horrendous crime. There’s many places where you can be charged for being a bystander, if only the rest of the world was like that
Yes & b/c so many people are doing "Nothing" no one stands out as a coward for not taking action.
@@mssssssssssssssi think it's difficult. there's such a lack of education. people go through their lives not expecting to be in a position where things are real. the system doesn't make it easy either, helping can easily turn into a prison sentence for yourself.

The mom from Qiaofeng is still heartbreaking, but it's already a lots better now
the family of that guy piss me off!!

Qiaofeng's older brother sounds like a great brother.
But then what if that person dies in attempt to help? Unless they have a gun I'd be worried the attacker has weapon 😢
If you do this I will not be helping. I have extreme anxiety and I will freeze. Yall need to stop with this
@@RoachRitchy Not everyone experiences anxiety, and this approach should not be dismissed, as it can genuinely assist victims.
@JasmineRimaneli go ahead and play around with your life then because if you do this to me I'm not helping I'm freezing.

"You call the police, and you call an ambulance" Make sure the person knows you are talking to them
No wonder he turned out the way he did with his evil family. OMG.
Her brother sounds like he is just as much of an angel as she was. Their parents raised wonderful people.

That man's whole family is awful! How can you say or do those things to the family of your son's victim?
My heart breaks for chen I can’t imagine how terrified this poor woman felt 😢
The general public were like:
She must've led him on.
He must've been so naive and innocent, and she manipulated him.
He was just deeply in love, and she must've made fun of his feelings, played him, and took advantage of him and basically used him.
She wore revealing clothes and went to parties, so she must've been an immoral promiscuous w**re.
(Even though her clothes were not revealing btw, not that there's anything wrong with that, or could be a justification for murder)
Even when people were shown proofs that the rumors were baseless and incorrect (again not that any of this shit would've been an excuse for murder) they literally said: well, there must've been a reason, he wouldn't just snap at her like that out of nowhere, she must've done something.
What was the case called?
I never knew criminals who were executed for their crimes could donate their organs. Imagine the heart of murderer beating inside of you....what a crazy juxtaposition
yeah, I don't like that...
my first boyfriend was EXACTLY like this man. except he met me when I was 16 and he was 24. terrifying to think he could have devolved into this.

It's the fact that his name means to benefit and he grew up to benefit from the poor woman. Coincidence? I think not.

It is sickening.
that is horrifying :(

its great she is so strong... but chen just kept giving him chances.. she was so MANIPULATED DEEPLY BY HER BOYFRIEND
do people stand by because they expect someone else is going to help? honestly i feel like that might be my mindset if i seen something happen with a bunch of people around, i would probably think “well someone has to step in and do something at some point” not realizing that someone should be ME. that’s so scary, and disappointing.
its actually been recommended by officials that if you do need help in a crowded area, rather than shouting "help help" to shout something like "help - you in the blue shirt" because it is unfortunately so so common to think that someone else will help or that the person isn't talking to you etc. so heartbreaking and terrifying, truly
The victim blaming just breaks my heart and makes me so angry. I’m glad the story is being set straight here
Look I don’t like to victim blame but this was making me mad 😂 like how naive do you have to be
@ I’m confused on what you mean
Great job telling this horrible story. I worry we will hear more tales of subjugated women in the near future. With controlling men being elevated on the international scene, the worst people are emboldened to be abusive. 😢
These cases just makes my blood boil so much because there are just so many resembling this exact situation yet boys (yes not men boys because they lack any maturity) just don’t want to acknowledge them and ‘act’ completely clueless on why women are more distant and guarded towards them. It’s also just sad that a lot of the older generation still feel the need to defend these actions when it is done by a man.
no, they're not boys. they are MEN. just terrible terrible men. don't infantalize men for being horrible.

how sad that such a lovely person had such a terrifying tragic end. she deserved so much better from society and life and an actual chance to be loved and cared for and experience a truly loving kind partner. the world would’ve shone brighter with her still in it, and it would’ve been amazing to see what else she could’ve accomplished if she got to live her full life.

Not if there is abuse
@ it is still hard to leave with abuse especially when you are manipulated, sometimes even harder to leave as this case shows
@bjo867 it's even harder when abuse is involved. Much harder. Stop victim blaming 🤬
If THIS is how this animal's family and friends reacted to his appalling crime, then I'm not in the least bit surprised he turned out the way he did, and it makes me so angry and upset for the poor, gentle victim and the people she loved 🤬
This is one of the most heartbreaking stories you have done, Eleanor. Rest in peace Chen. You did not deserve this.
the animal abuse absolutely broke my heart. 💔
The family should b sent to prison for abusing her family aswell x
I never thought I would see a Hawk Tuah cameo on Eleanor Neale's video 😭
What is that?
If you witness a violent crime and don’t even try to help, then you don’t get to call yourself human anymore. Disgusting. Honestly, bystanders like that should be charged with accessory.
My heart absolutely breaks for her. She was so young and wanted to improve children's education and share her love of dance. She deserved the whole world.
Love the kindness that Elenor put in each upload. I am from South Africa and I can't wait until her next upload. It is never disappointing. Thank you

you’re such an amazing person and I love that you’re so respectful, not one of ur videos disappoint❤️❤️
Eleanor! I’ve been watching you for years! I love the cases you cover and how you try to relate to the victim. Much love.
imma send this to everyone who asks why women in abusive relationships don't just leave them.
What an evil man! May she r.i.p such a sad and tragic case 😢
his family are the reason he turned out such a terrible person. immediately blaming the victim's family instead of reflecting on themselves.
Please research the case of Liam gray, his story was featured on “Britain’s most dangerous kids”, it’s close to me and shocked everybody, it’s an awfully sad case with little explanation :(
no one cares

can you mini explain the case
Abuse is a personality flaw
