Beautiful. We have a ton of black cherry around property in North Georgia. The honey bees like the flowers and they flower pretty early here. I think the reason they are found so often at fence lines is because birds will perch and poo out the seeds there. If anyone wants some seeds or seedlings let me know.
I would absolutely love some seedlings! I can't find them for the life of me anywhere and I used to live near a bunch as a kid. I miss those pretty little plants. (I'm also in north GA, pickens county)
The cherry tree grew next to the fence line because somebody was probably eating cherries next to the fence line while they were passing by and spit their seed over there.
The inner bark is medicine along with the fruit ❤
I’ve been looking for this specific tree in GA for ages to find some and it’s real hard to identify for me so I’m exited to see this video
Birds love the fruit and drop the seeds out when they sit on the fence is why they are by fences mostly.

Birds eat the cherries, birds sit on fences and shit, thus the trees from that grow near fence lines IMO

Lol. Thx. Yeah I have been around it a while. I actually can't get it. Or never had it. To date.
