  • One of the quarterbacks drafted in the legendary 1983 NFL Draft. O'Brien had a good arm and could hit the deep pass with regularity. He threw for 128 touchdowns and over 25,000 yards in his career.

Ken O'Brien of the New York Jets deserves respect because he used to throw heat missiles and is one of the ten most underestimated quarterbacks in NFL history; if you don't believe me, ask Dan Marino and Miami Dolphin fans.

O'Brien, McNeil, Toon, Walker, Schuler. That was a good offense they had in the mid to late 80s.

Ken O'Brien was 7-6 lifetime head to head vs Marino, beat him in an all out classic shootout game, both have the same amount of Super Bowl wins.

If the NY Jets had an OL Ken O’Brien numbers would have been much better. We had the skill players and offensive weapons but our OL was garbage. Jim Sweeney and Joe Shields were the only constant Pro Bowl type players. Marvin Powell was the last NY OL to made a Pro Bowl in 1983. The last great NY QB that went deep.

Correct. Are rings the most important factor when judging a career?
