One of the greatest players in Jaguars history. Jones-Drew was short, but was hard to bring down for defenders. He ran alongside Fred Taylor, then took over after he left where from 2009 to 2011, he was the Jaguars offense. Had over 8,000 rushing yards, over 11,000 yards from scrimmage, and 81 total touchdowns in his career.

This is my list of the top 25 returners in NFL history. This is taking into the account the return ability on both kickoffs and punts only. I also focused more on the eye test of a returner. Let me know what you think in the comments in a respectful manner.

NFL 50 Greatest Runningbacks (2024)
50s 60s and 70s, you had people like Night Lane Train, Dick Butkus, Jack Tatum, and Lyle Alzado.
We often here about Jim but I personally have seen little footage - sheesh the guy was a wrecking ball with tremendous speed.
For 4-5 years in the NFL, TD was unstoppable. Nobody did it best....no one!
Andrews was the best of the bunch.
8 seasons were not enough. We should have frozen him and brought him out for a season every ten years.
HAIL TO THEE👑🤴KING‼️
I was lucky enough to have watched most of Warren Moon's career. No one... Threw a tighter spiral than Warren Moon.
What’s the hold up should be a hall of famer
Simply, the best that ever was & I've been watching football since 1965! Over 12,000 yards in just 9 seasons. 4 years of just 12 games & 5 years of 14 games. To top that, keep in mind that he came into the league 7 years before the Civil Rights act & Voting act. The atmosphere in the 50's wasn't conducive for a black man with his ability, +, still the only running back to average 100 yds a game for his career and over 5 yds per carry over his career.
I noticed this baby Earl Cambell in jr. HS. Injuries derailed his HOF career, no question. Legend. 🦾🦍
Marino came into the League with the perfect formula for success--he was Drafted by a S.B. team, his Defense was No.1 for Least Points Allowed, his backs had over 2,000 yds. rushing, he had the best Coach in the League, and he was in his Prime from '83 thru '86. That should have led to 2 to 4 S.B.'s, but Dan couldn't get it done in the playoffs.
Here are his stats from his 3 championship game losses--he had 4 TD's but 6 INT's and 2 fumbles, an avg. Passer Rating of 59, and he led his offense to an avg. of only 12 p.p.g. How can a team win championships when their QB is playing like that ?? They can't and the Dolphins didn't. Dan was an underachiever in the playoffs.
He was amazing 😁
He was a tough, great quarterback and I was not a Cardinals fan, but I was a Jim Hart fan, along with a Dierdorf and Wilson fan
Very underrated player.
The Taints is wild disrespectful hahaha
O. J. Simpson brutally murdered two innocent people... O. J. and all his statistics should be totally and completely erased from the NFL history. The man is totally and completely disqualified !
I think Eddie was the qst RB to have 1000 yards rushing his 1st 10 straight seasons... He definitely is one of my favorite RBs ever .
Eric Dickerson was sent by the running-back gods from Planet Rock....Dickerson ran like a cheetah..... The guy was sooooo kick-ass....... ua-cam.com/video/9J3lwZjHenA/v-deo.html
I'm usually one of those that "he was the best of his era" kind of person...but....He was HUGE, his speed still exceeded anyone in the NFL position....He'd probably have done close to or more except of all of the new pussy rules they've added for because of Tom Brady's bitching and because of a Will Smith film.....God I'd love to see the current players even try against the 2000 s and pre-Brady players....90's would win in a landslide and this comes from a 40 year old KC-born Chief fan.......R.I.P. Linebacker Thomas....you were the greatest...
Ed... Do some more wall sits... Do some more sinc movements... Funny... 2 v 2 or 3... In a line... Banded... Holding a towel... Do some under water darts... 1 v 1... Do some more heavy carry walks... Weight resistance running... Low squats walks on a treadmill... Heavy bag... Anticipate success... Breathe thru... Be a hype man... Congratulate... Control emotional feelings... Use a green clear visor... Use gloves the color of pants... Do some head locks on the elbow across body... Circles... Fight the elbow up and down... Do some hands bend backs... For back pain... Do some leg up on a chair... Knee to ground tounches... Side... Pulse... Do some split leg Bulgarian squats... To deadlifts... 5x ea... To jump... Heavy... Do some banded... Ladder... 1 v 1... Do some jump to the side ground touches... Med ball or dumbbell... Under a exercise ball... Hurdle... Do some banded and cable in back of arms sit ups... Twist... Do some side plank and back on neck hip thrust... Weighted... Putt beer pong tick tac toe... Do some two hand wind mill lays... Side... One hand grab the net... Off hand 360... Switch hands in air... Lay... Dunk... Overhead lay to from the hip lay... Switch hands... From the hip lay to a floater... Switch hands... Euro... Do some shoots with a ball between legs... Stepping on the band... Banded around wrist... Low dribbles...
Possibly my favorite QB of all time. Literally no one has _ever_ thrown a prettier ball. As a Denver native and a Broncos fan, I absolutely _loved_ competing against a true artist like Warren Moon
William Andrews = Bulldozer!
Most fluid & smooth transitioning runner ever. Dickerson came close. Got to see him & Butkus at Wrigley a few times between mid 60's & 71' like it was yesterday.
1969 when I became a RAMS fan at 9 He was MY Quarteback!!!
I doubt he’s running like that into todays football with how good linemen are
This became a po- lock video, cuz cut off at end.
This got cut off at the end.would be good video, but this is no good.
He rarely got nailed. He always chose to be the hammer
All because a "colored boy" can't play quarterback
The NFL needs to make a Super Bowl Ring for him! 😮
He, Eric Dickerson runs beautifully, just fantastic NFL Running Back! Shame he didn’t win a Championship! Fabulous runner!
Broadway Joe one of the best to ever play the game.
Man, that guy was so amazing! Overall, the best of the best. 👍
They literally could not have tackled him in a phone booth. And in the open field, he ran like a bronco. A white one to be exact.
Dude said he’s putting Marcus Allen and Tony Dorset above him as if one man wins championships in the NFL, especially back then
jim brown was a 21st century back in the 20th century. the defenses he was playing against just couldnt stop him.
My favorite big backs. Personally, 1.Jerome Bettis 2.Natrone Means 3.Steven Jackson 4.Brandon Jacobs 5.Derek Henry Bonus: Michael Turner, Eddie Lacy, LeGarret Blount Those are my personal Favorite Big Boy Backs that I got to watch Live. I know there are some that are better but those are my favorites. Natrone will always have love from San Diego. Edit: Added Blount to bonus.
The Dan Fouts Chargers…. Only team to score 109pts and lose by 75pts because their D was terrible!!!
Chris
Jaymr Gibbs is similar today..
The commentor must be Caucasian, in the hood the public transportation was called the iron pimp, when we think of the bus if it hit you it's over nonstop unless it tips over itself da hood definition
Show be a better football video! Da Bears! Yeah, we had a tough 2024.
I loved Jeff George. Dude was just gunning footballs
2:10 9 years and never missed a game. Insane
oj killed it
I was born in Alabama and lived in New York at the time he played for the Jets, Broadway Joe ! Was our hero! When he did the pentehose commercial construction workers north and south admitted they wore them to keep warm at work in the winter
He had a lot of big breakaway td runs
I have been blessed to watch the cowboys from 1967 on till now 2025. Tony Dorsett in my humble opinion was the smoothest running back I’ve had the pleasure to witness in my 64 years on this earth.
He reminds me of a gazelle being chased by lions.
