This piece brings back so many memories from when I was younger. I love to hear this piece. it’s a favorite. I’m amazed at how much this piece reminds me of my younger years and how happy that makes me.
When I was in school this was a very popular contest piece for the violins since it was the only one in the Group I category (which getting a 1 rating would allow you to continue on to the state contest) that could be played entirely in first position.
I remember trying to work on this a few years ago and looking up this recording and just marveling at the speed at which he plays it at! When I saw this, I had to watch and see if the little line could keep up!

The Suzuki nostalgia is strong.

Poor piano player trying to keep up
Too fast
Yes, I agree with you, this concerto should be played slower... but still, a nice performance of it. Thanks for your comment!
Allegro¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
I thinks its in the right speed, is an allegro not an allegreto
I think it’s way too fast too. Perlman is a genius but this is not a piece I enjoy listening with him playing. That’s just my opinion.
@@juliewartman3135 …. I’m with you on this. I put it at .75 playback speed.

Sebastian's the cat? Named after Bach?
