Worked like a charm! Even as someone relatively new to crochet, this turned out as a wonderful border to a sleeve! I live the way my project turned out, and this gave it that last bit of 🌸spice🌸
Gorgeous! I did make a simple change though, by doing a 4 chain and a slip stitch in the centre after the fourth petal, then doing another chain 4 before the last petal. It made the flower symmetrical with the chains accompanying the flower through out. I hope it made sense, I’m very new to crochet ☺️
This is just the right number of petals to give a flow across one's edging as single flower shapes emerge, uncrowded, Perfect for my sweater bands as they needed weight and accentuation. Thanks so much!
3:58 1. After the 3 DC chain 3 2. (Yarn over and pull yarn thing) x5 in the one stitch that’s connected to the double crochet in the middle 3. Next chain /5 4. Skip 2 chains then /5 5. Yarn over and pull through all loops 6. Tighten and chain 4 7. Yo and pull through middle hole you created /5 8. Yo and pull through all loops on hook 9. Chain 1 10. Yarn over and pull yarn through middle hole again /5 11. Yarn over and pull through all loops 12. DC in next 3 chains 13. repeat!
Just got onto my second flower, I think my only mistake is that the chains on the main blanket I'm working on are smaller and the yarn I'm using to do the flowers is slightly thicker but I managed to make it work Hope I get the corners right! 😃
To update, I finished my border and it took me an hour and 10 minutes for each of the 4. So proud of myself for completing it and thank you for such a great tutorial!!
