For some reason as far back as FS15 when I started with FS, I've almost always gotten the New Holland T6 tractor. Unless I consciously choose another tractor as my beginning tractor, I'm getting one. Go figure. 🙂
That Fendt you have at #1 is my favorite. I swapped out all of my tractors for a fleet of 5 of these just a couple of days ago. I kept two of the largest Case tractors for "just in case" stuff. 95-99% of my tractor use is that Fendt. Great choice.
I've started every save so far with the valtra T series medium. It's relatively cheap and goes up to 271hp. Can take a front loader and does basically everything you may want to do. I've only upgraded in my latest save so far because of heavy trailer loads going uphill we're taking a toll on it.
Instead of the fendt 1100 I’m going to spend the little extra for the Claas Xerion. Good speed, crab steering available, no center pivot and almost as much horsepower as the case quadtrac
While I like the Fendt 1000, my go to has always been the New Holland T8.435 since FS15. Unless youre pulling absolute supersized equipment which you need a Quadtrac or NH T9 to pull it gets the job done
That T8 just looks sweet and has the rear trax option. My most used large tractor. You can buy it at a good price used, then upgrade it to 435 HP as you need more. The trax just look really good on this one.
I used to only use Case Tractors in FS17 because I loved the steiger quadtracs, but the used machinery has completely changed that! I still B line it for the Magnum because I love the look of the crawler tracks and how much horse power you can get out of it, but I caught a Fendt 900 series on the sale and quickly it has become my work horse! Overall great list!
Currently I have the white tractor has my pet tractor, I think Agrostar should be number 1 it my main tractor right now but I will eventually replace it, My third tractor is a MOD the JCB fast track its all wheel steer so it turn tight really fast can have a loader and front 3 point. and when your driving you can lock the stealing on the rear wheels so it does not turn to sharp at speed . MY big tractor of choice is the New holland T8 genesis 435 HP 354k cost 31 MPH and it can be a half track without giving up the speed
Good video. I started on FS2009 Gold and getting the Fendt 614 Favorit [165 HP] Frontloader after selling off the starting equipment would allow me to do everything with one tractor. Not up to FS2025 yet, but there's no harm in looking ahead! 🙂
The Fendt 500 is really good, they updated it for this game though and a lot more expensive but you can get it with the highest hp out of all the small tractors. I miss the Claas they previously had and you could upgrade it to just over 200 hp, the one they do give you is more or less comparable with a Fendt 300 series. Another of my go-to tractors is the Fendt 700 series which has a lot of bang for the buck. If I had a fleet from just one manufacturer in the game it would be Fendt. Some of the tractors you mentioned would make what I would call support tractors, ie: helpers, like when you're spraying a huge field and the capacity isn't high enough you can use it to bring a trailer of herbicide or you need it with an auger wagon for seeds or fertilizer... you can always use these extra tractors in the game. Yes some of them are a bit slow but they are also very cheap. Me personally in the game I like CVT the best, basically instant power and it doesn't waste time shifting gears, in real life I prefer gears as CVTs are basically junk.
I use the Fendt 1000 Vario. Only thing i hate is how much it cost to run the large tractors. You're already paying 400k and up and it's like the game is charging you a fee to use those expensive tractors on top of the cost you already paid for. 😮💨
The fendt 900 is good for doing like fertilizing bc it can get narrow wheel with 415hp 39mph but the fendt 1000 is better for bigger implements bc it can have up to 517hp can drive at 39 mph but does not have narrow wheels
The Massey 9S has more HP than the Fendt 900 and is about 70k cheaper for the same features. The only thing the 9S doesn't have is reverse driving, but the Fendt doesn't have that either. Valtra S has everything, including reverse driving + 415hp, for 303k. Why would you spend more on Fendt other than "brand loyalty"?
The self propelled wood chiper have more than a thousand hp. And dual steering. I call it my little locomotive that thing go fast quick lol. I found a hoe (weeder) that when you set it up for 27 meters in the customise menu take minimum 450hp to move
I use kubota with front loader for like 90% of all works. Small works around the farm. Big tractors are for the field works. The old john deere is crap in my opinion, only good about it is that its cheap! Weak engine, gears to often, bad acceleration and front loader is kinda pointless on it. Im always selling it fast
That Challanger 225 can be picked up used for a steal. I bought it originally because it was such a good deal used. Later will doing multiple tasks I I found I used it quite alot sending AI out to do jobs. Very cheap to operate without putting wear and tear on much more expensive tractors. That big Metallic gold Valtra is hard to beat for multi use and the reverse steering option. Comes in handy running a big forestry mulcher clearing out trees and brush. It's also a great valve.
Hi Jake! My favorite is the Fendt 1000 in the base game but i use a modded version of it (pc only) with 1000 hp and it goes 60 mph. It's perfect for my need.
I’m pissed there are no new holland quadtracs or any t9 it’s completely messed up my game because I have built 5 separate farms and have made them to only run one brand at each farm and new holland has only two options for tractors it’s driving me insane
@ yes sir I feel like the base game is just not good for equipment options and it sucks having to Wait for mods then when they do come out it’s junk old tractors that I will never use lol
I like the Fendt 900. I wish it had an option to not have a 3 point and just a front weight. I always seem to hit detach on the front weight. For that reason I tend to prefer the Case, they go fast enough, look good, and get the job done.
By the time you can afford the Fendt, you've already beaten the game. The 8.31 will be king for a while until we get some crazy good mod hub action for even less money with that kinda power.
Fendt would be my best if you could get the US version in all of those but since you can't it's something else. Thought Massey in the big size would work but won't run tillage in the hill's even way oversizing the tractor .Deutz has the handiest in small and medium. Has been that way in all the games I can remember.🚜
I like the 8R over the Fendt because the base HP is a bit higher and the max HP is 50hp more, at the cost of 6mph. On a 4x+ straight road map I could see wanting the extra 6mph but on the base maps I'd rather have that bit of extra HP for a bit cheaper. I do agree, avoid the midsize except for the MT600 or the Deutz and just use the money to get a 7r/8r and get more hp for a few more bucks. The smalls I've been avoiding so far, but I've rented the CLAAS 470-410 and the Lindtrac 130 and those are nice, just hard to justify. I wish we had more older 80/90/00/10's model tractors to chose from..
I like the JD 8RT over the center pivot 9R series. That said, I'm now tempted to go look at the Fendt you showed as it does have much better horsepower than the JD.
Case quad. Ok for big farm play. Never use em. The Challenger ok for a starter but no front lifters. Not a fan of JD cept maybe 600 series. Tracked tractors? Never use em. Rarely if ever used a DF in any game. Fendt usually a good go to with plenty of ponies if need but would go for Case 340 anyway. . However I only use what is with the base farm to start and dump em when I can. My first and only choice is the Case PRO Tuned 306 HP It will pull anything rated up to 320hp. The Lizard 9mtr plough up to 320 hp and the big JD chisel folding plough 300+hp. In 17 I used the Pro 261 hp all the time and from 19 to 22 the Pro 306hp. No other tractors are are used in my play except the little International 150 hp for small jobs like fertilizing tedding and even using 6mtr seeders. With all the options the 306 is well under 160k and the little International 38k. At the moment I dont play 25. I look in daily for map updates but Im not all that happy with the existing maps or the menu system as they are too antiseptic for me and I though I gave it a go I have zero interest in rice!!. I like little Polish /Brit/Irish/East EU maps/farms . So I shall be looking out for the first Brit map from OxyDavid and my beloved Case Pro 306 to drop...Sooon!!
@@LilDaTrucker Maybe the game needs more optimizing for console i don't know but i do know it needs it for PC also. I play pretty much any games without issue but i had to tone some of the settings down for this game.

After playing 400+ hours I come to the conclusion that most tractors are virtually impossible to use in first person view when traffic is enabled. Why is this horrible extra display on the right side in the cabin... When driving on the right side (only UK drives left) you have no view over the crossings to the right, while you need to give way to that side. In real life, you can move your body to view beyond this display, but in FS it is not possible, or at least not very easy as you sit statically in the cabin. I always chose tractors that do not have this display blocking my view. The number 1 Fendt (and all other Fendts) suffers from this problem, so although I like them I simply do not use them when traffic is on. So I have two options, either take a 'better' tractor or turn of traffic. Since traffic is still horrible in FS when it comes to traffic rules, I normally chose the latter.

Fendt rules! I use the Fendt 1000 for 90% of my games.
Me too!
Hands down the best and most versatile tractor in FS.
Prepare for american comments 😂😂😂
Same
Im American and i use the Fendt 900/1000 in all my games@MathyBoonen
For some reason as far back as FS15 when I started with FS, I've almost always gotten the New Holland T6 tractor. Unless I consciously choose another tractor as my beginning tractor, I'm getting one. Go figure. 🙂
As an american i grew up john deere, but Fendt just seems to be the go to brand according to this game lol

Valtra. Med and large. Most hp for lowest cost and reverse drive option. ❤

That Agrostar is an amzing tractor, especially for grass work etc.
Im a big fan of the John Deere 8R 410. Plenty of HP and not a bad price for a large tractor. (im a casual)
Just because you can't back up doesn't mean articulated tractors are no good.
I used to only use Case Tractors in FS17 because I loved the steiger quadtracs, but the used machinery has completely changed that! For me, the best tractor is the fastest one. Speed is very important, it saves soooo much time when transporting or going to places
I use the fendt that maxes out at 517hp forgot model number, love it
Can I ask why you chose the 900 series over the 1000? Is it down to cost?
Currently I have the white tractor has my pet tractor, I think Agrostar should be number 1 it my main tractor right now but I will eventually replace it, My third tractor is a MOD the JCB fast track its all wheel steer so it turn tight really fast can have a loader and front 3 point. and when your driving you can lock the stealing on the rear wheels so it does not turn to sharp at speed . Favorite tractor Case puma 260
Id have to go with the Fendt 728 vario
303 hp
39 mph
Fantastic turning radius
It will get you from your first tractor to your last tractor
i like running small farms so i dont entireley agree with this list. but everyone plays differently.
Go big or go home. 😂
It seems like fs22 had a lot more tractor options put of the gate than this one does.

Fendt 700 series, you can go to 303 HP, it's quick and powerful and cheaper to run than its big brothers.
The only problem I have with the fendt tractors in this game is the turning radius. Since the hitch is behind the back tires it’s terrible.
Love the John Deere 8r a lot can do everything on my farm with it
For some reason, I like the Case IH steiger 715 quadtrac the most. I know that it is not the most useful one but It is just so silly
Silly is always a good time
So the technical term isn't "twisty butt" for the Case?

They had to make the John Deere the economic option in Small Tractors because thats the only thing that makes it attractive.

AS A FENDT FAN BOY, I APPROVE THIS LIST. FENDT IS THE BEST GREEN TRACTOR AROUND.
I have found the fendt tracked tractor is awesome for mowing, its power, agility and maneouvrability make it my go to machine for big mowing jobs.
I can't run tractors that don't let me use US style side markers on US maps. I cannot run EU style nope lol
Fair enough
Fendt 1000 is nicer and better looking
FS25...Why? It doesn't look any better than FS22.
I like the JD 8RT over the center pivot 9R series. That said, I'm now tempted to go look at the Fendt you showed as it does have much better horsepower than the JD.
Higher top speed is super nice too
