The Lizard Forage Pickup is actually based on a real life one by kemper (could be another but this was the one i remember) called "kemper C 2200 / c 3000", it had many mounting options on it, could either be a forage harvester for corn, like the self propelled forage harvesters in the game or a forage pickup.
I personally just play the way I want and what's enjoyable. Anyone trying to play this "realistically" needs their heads examined. Seriously... who buys this game, plants a crop and then comes back in 9 months or so to then harvest? And 9 months is if you're on a rented server... imagine buying the gaming, planting a crop on a non-rented server that isn't running 24/7... your crop will be ready to harvest by the time FS28 comes out LOL! Anyway... I subbed cause I like your style and willing to use whatever mods make sense for your play style and enjoyment. I use quite a few of these and you've turned me onto some others. Keep up these kinds of videos... I love them! Mods are my one big issue with this game, in that there isn't ONE central place that host them all, Giants takes forever with their process. I guess my biggest complaint about mods, is that there is no way to directly download these from your own rented server... which is pathetic. Kinda of stupid that I can upload anything, but then anyone entering is then forced to run around the internet trying to find these mods, to then download them and install them. I'm wondering if I hosted on my own system... will others connecting to me then be able to download all of them... or is it the same problem?
I think they can download directly if they are in mod hub! But if you have Any that aren’t from base game it’s gunna be a search. There’s a button for it in Console that just downloads all the mods you need
@@Farmerjakeyt So console gets a 'download all' and PC has to hunt for them.. smh and lol. I'm on PC if ya didn't feel my frustration. The vast majority of mods I use aren't on ModHub and that comes down to a Giants issue of being too slow and too restrictive. I feel we should have an option to allow for all mods to be downloaded if we're renting a server.
@@BeastMortThe you should have dev console on so you can check for errors. non mod hub mods are fun but some might crash your game. i started doing this on fs22
I feel like i've said it a 100 times but the Krone Big M 500 v1.1 mod is a must have, it doesn't skip any grass when bouncing because it's bigger, literally a must have when doing grass fields, it can also have a forage wagon after & it goes 20-22 kmh, literally a nobrainer yet no one seems to talk about it.
That lizard plow is nice yes - but a major issue i have with it is it doesn't fold up vertically. For riverbend and calmsden, to and from the store has some tight areas and the plow just catches fing everything. Also, back in 22 silage was king. In 25 they completely nuetered the sale price.. even on easy the price is like 300. Which means 200K silage only nets you $60,000. Silage in 22 was 600 on easy mode. Doing silage in 25 is all the same work, half the payout. Just not worth it.
Why is government subsidy the most downloaded? Its a farming game, you can make it as easy or hard as you want. Not that serious. Its not aimbot in cod.

@BeastMortThe giants took a loooong time to get mods out for this one. Luckily it looks like they are starting to flow pretty good now

Greenhouses and. Lettuces are quicker way of making money than trying the outdated silage

I use courseplay to bale straw and it works great. Also anyother windrowed crop.

Imoa mowing is worse in 25 due to the ground deformation there’s only one mower that doesn’t miss anything
