    This a amazing machine.
    My only wishlist is a better Webcam for the next gen.
    I hope Lenovo doesn't do any radical 'overhaul'.
    We Thinkpad users a pretty conservative lot and that's what I like about Thinkpad.

      Agree its an amazing machine and still holds a great place in my heart for laptops, I don't expect this to change much what I hope for is FHD webcam and 16:10 display, I see that the new Lenovo X1 Nano has 16:10 display so I thinking they may not bring this over to the X1 Carbon =( just to create a better market for the new Nano for the time being.

      Something to aim for but I can't be greedy yet, there so much I need to learn and improve to deserve those high subs. Thank you though it really does give me encouragement to continue making the videos for you all, Muhammad =).

      @BsianTech  3 роки тому +1

      @@trungpham-gx2yg ah okay well X1 Carbon can only do 16GB and not upgradable after that. So you will have to look into the P14s, T14 that can go up to 48GB, or go 15inch to the X1 Extreme for max 64GB. All these option you lose all the insane lightweight unfortunately.

    • @trungpham-gx2yg

      @@BsianTech I already order the t14 amd version with r7 4750u 16gb ram and 512gb ssd . I think T seri is enough for student. It more afforable than the extreme and lighter than the P seri.

    I recently bought the macbook pro 14", and recently returned it. Its a very nice laptop but my trusty X1 Gen 8 (with which I use Linux) beat it out - lighter weight, tougher and that keyboard.

    Which is a better laptop between Lenovo X1 Carbon and Lenovo X1 Yoga all with the following specs
    Core i7 8th gen 16GB RAM | 512GB SSD 14" touchscreen, backlit keyboard?

    • @BsianTech
      @BsianTech  Рік тому

      If you don't need the 2-in-1 or pen/digital stylus support I personally perfer the X1 Carbon as it has better speakers than the Yoga and also I perfer the Matte screen from the X1 Carbon (which can be touch screen still) over the glossy display in the Yoga.

    Do you think it would be possible to do light music production on this machine?

    • @BsianTech
      @BsianTech  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Tansel Ali, if you need low latency as you might see I haven't include the latencymon test results as it seems all 10th Gen Intel has fail due to driver support we still waiting for Intel to fix this issue. I do run the latencymon test every laptop to check when they have fix it again. Else this would be fine for music production this computer I am sure.
