With Germany it wasn't that surprising if you paid attention to the prior signals. Germany lost against teams like Hungary (twice). That was enough to consider how weak was Germany. I bet for Germany being out. Just I had Spain first and Japan second.

@@jibrilleo Honestly though that was pretty reasonable. Even Belgium & the Netherlands in particularly had this. Although it truly seems as if Germany hit the generational switch button in 2014 properly while alot of other popular countries were hampering around against weirdly strong surprising sides. (Like Mexico VS Netherlands & Argentina VS Y'know in the group stage). Guess that after that one win they've started withering away a bit though. Sadly can't see how they're doing on Euros qualifiers since they're hosting it, but they still might have a chance.
In fairness, most people wouldn't have been able to accurately predict half of these matches. This World Cup was chaotic and unpredictable from start to finish, with so many upsets.

Of course. A coach who got his job in September making a Cinderella run with Morocco. First place in a group with Belgium and Croatia, then knocking out Spain (one of the favorites) and Portugal (after a ridiculous 6-1 victory), and making a solid game against France despite losing their best defenders.

The Denmark hype was beyond my comprehension. You can't predict a surprise or else it won't be one lol Morocco in 22, Croatia in 18, Costa Rica in 14, Uruguay/Ghana in 10, Turkey in 02...

That match was wild; it should have been 4-0 by halftime and instead, the second half was the most frustrating thing I've ever watched at 3 AM. People actually started believing that 1 fluke defeat in 3 years (now 4!) meant Argentina would collapse. Your jinx powers are legendary, though. The Scaloneta owes you one.

The biggest crime in your predictions video was predicting Lautaro Martinez to score
90% of the people had him as the best goal scorer XD including me.
To be fair, he was clearly more proven than Alvarez at club level. So naturally everyone thought that would transfer to the World cup, but what do we know.

From Mexico tbh, no one here really expected to qualify. The team was too old, full of corruption and played terrible. If so, it was a mild surprise (not huge but still) they managed to win against Saudi Arabia

An Indonesian football observer on UA-cam (Suara Chinoll) had mostly predicted a wrong picks for this World Cup:
1.Only Group A, B, and C were correct for the group stage (Netherlands-Senegal in Group A, England-USA in Group B, and Argentina-Poland in Group C).
2.In Round of 16, only six games were correct. He mistakenly predicted Japan and Spain to go through. They lost on penalties to Croatia and Morocco.
3.In Quarterfinal, only one game was correct: Argentina defeated Netherlands on penalties.
4.Argentina and France reached the Final and Argentina won the World Cup.

I'm not sure if you're okay with video suggestions, but im going to make one: Sunderland AFC. Relegated to the championship, the only season i bought a sunderland ticket (woohoo!), in 2017, and then double relegated to League One. From there, it took FOUR YEARS OF IMMENSE PAIN before we made it back to the championship and are currently 8th.

Honestly I cannot describe how happy I was seeing Costa Rica losing so hard against Spain. Reason being is that if it wasn’t for them. The country of my heritage, aka El Salvador (my dad was born there) would’ve gone to the World Cup for the first time since the 80’s. But hey there’s always next World Cup, hopefully
