  • Titleist golf balls reviewed and testing the True feel golf ball. Mark Crossfield compares the Titleist True feel golf ball up against the Titleist ProV 1X golf ball. Which golf ball is right for your, which golf ball spins the most and which golf ball goes the furthest. See just how different these two golf balls are and which one golf ball is best. The True Feel golf ball is half the price of the ProV1 golf balls so what are you paying for and what really is the reason for this huge difference in price. Golf ball testing is something that is often over looked in golf but if you look at the numbers from these two golf balls you will see that what ball you choose could effect your ability to score.

Not about the ball, Mark but about that 10 finger grip statement with Coach! You’ll have to follow that through! Saw a pro in Today’s Golfer who said something similar a while back!

I've been told to pick a ball I like, and stick to it, the problem is finding enough of the same one in the ditches and hedges around the course. Nightmare 😱

Love the feedback here. I've been playing DT Trusoft for a while now. I love the feel around the greens and throughout my irons. And, being in education, I can't ignore the cost benefit. Keep up the good work!

Hi mark at it took a few videos to warm up to your humor at first but I must say you keep me dying in your less serious videos and still do the absolute best job in teaching the technicalities and numbers behind our game that said I use very very cheap precept power drive because I lose to many only having played less than a year. Big thanks from Philadelphia

I picked up a couple of the TruFeel balls, and have to say your testing was spot on with my experience. Long off the tee, decent with mid irons, but not the green side control I get from my AVX. Great video as usual, Mark!

Played pro v1 for years. Best ball for me. Like the feel off my soft putter face. Saying that, tried a dozen Inesis 900 tour balls after a recent ball study "cough Mgs cough" and gotta say the similarities to prov1 was very surprising at £20 a dozen. Great vid as always.

Seriously have not watched much UA-cam for the past couple of months yet have noticed marked difference in your swing. You were on a diet last time I watched and your new physique is great. The benefit shows in your better shoulder turn, you're completing the back swing and following through to make superb contact with the ball. In all the years I've been watching I can't recall you playing the ball better than you did today in this video. Well done for that, the video content has always been superb.

Hi Mark, I've just started playing the Truefeel ball from using the Prov1.. This due to weather conditions that we are now facing as club golfer. I must admit I am really pleased with the performance and results from using this ball. For the money and performance you get I believe you cant go wrong going into the winter months.. Although come next spring when the courses become more playable I will revert back to the Prov1..

I've dabbled with that... I lost distance off the tee, the ball feels like it is compressing so much the outer side of the ball is squishing up against my drivers club face (Ball is completely deforming at impact) (this happened @168mph ball speed) but gained a club length on my irons. It seems to go rope straight off the tee, I normally play a high draw, but it seems to be extremely straight, especially into wind. Best thing is that they seem like they'd glow in the dark they're so bright! Red is a bit harder to see in the air, but once it's on the ground it is SO bright!!!! Love their feel on my Odyssey white hot putter... I play my Pro V's until the light starts to fade, then switch to these until dark. If you carry a torch with you, you'll get atleast another 25min on the course because the balls are so bright under torchlight...

Dear Mark, I was an aspiring junior reaching single handicap at 12 and was at 4 by the time I was 14. It was like set in stone that I would one day work in golf. Then it just stopped for me, I struggled in tournaments and stopped to reach the goals my pro set for me. He blamed it on me, that I didn't practice enough although I spent so many nights at the chipping and pitching area and biking home way past dark. I grew hatred to the game and although I never started playing any other sports I just couldn't get anywhere, especially mentally. Now I'm 32 and I'm still struggling to pick up a golf club without getting bad feelings. Still, every year or two I watch a couple of your videos and I get really excited about playing again, all the good memories return. But usually just 1-2 hours at the range or 9 holes completely drains me and my thoughts always circle around what could have been had I only been better. I wish I could somehow return to the game and feel excited about playing and accepting that I might never play at the level I did back then - but still go out and enjoy hitting the ball without taking it so seriously. Do you have any experience of this or any suggestions for how I could find my love for the game again? Best regards /Hannes, Sweden

Switched to TrueFeel from Bridgestone Tour B XS last week after trying a sleeve and shooting my second-lowest round of the year. Mark,
Have used Prov1 for some years, but can’t really justify the cost as my ability will not allow me to take advantage of it around the greens. Just played a true feel today and really impressed. At my level(14.5 index) and age 67, it’s plenty good enough. Probably will switch, though am also testing Callaway erc soft and Inisis tour from Decathlon, as I buy these in Spain for the winter. Greens are more receptive there and stopping power less important. Great channel. Keep it up!

I play the yellow ProV1, because they are the only premium ball I can find locally not in white.
I think it’s funny how you’ve done this video several times, but people still want to see it because they don’t want to believe the numbers (roughly the same) you have put out for years.
    Love the vids Mark!

Callaway Chrome Soft Truvis. Good price and great performance. I find seeing the spin helps me understand what’s going on with my short game

I use callaway super soft I love the way they seem to explode off the club face, and around the greens I get great spin and feel. I like the the soft sound when I putting also.
    Cheers.
