Who would of thought , at the age of 63 I have just found my biking hero who until recently I never knew existed . I was never off a bike and in the UK I never learnt to drive until I was in my thirties. Then the biking went as did the pounds of fat replace it .. Well Ive just recently got into Trail biking and even started BMX principally to get my little boy off the computer .
Thanks to UA-cam at last I found you Hans, after all those years lol . Great docs by the way ...keep them coming. You are a true ambassador Hans

It's an amazing documentary. It's also amazing to see how small a 26" bike looks compared to modern trail bikes. Thanks for sharing!
More important is the geometry of the bicycle. But most importantly, what are the qualities of the rider. Hans is unique in every respect, just a legend in sports! :)

Additionally, Brian Lopes seems to be a jerk, the trip would have been better without him. I would avoid him.

Why was Brian a jerk, because he was sick of tuna and crackers, or sick of filming and just wanted to ride the trail. Maybe you should get out more, you seem pretty uptight
