This video made me cry, what a wonderful video. I'm Nigerian and husband is African american. I make sure I teach him whatever he wants to know about his ancestors culture. Just beautiful.
I think all Africain Americans have to do the same to make peace with yourself because most of your ancestors have prayed before dying for their descendance to go back to Africa one day like those sisters did. Some of you can help the ones who can not afford to make that trip. It is a healing process. That will be the best gift someone can give to any Africain Americans. God bless!
Unfortunately, I've seen so many videos on UA-cam, where black Americans have been brainwashed to hate Africans and blaming us for selling them. Ironically, you hardly hear them blaming the white men, who actually enslaved them and later came to the continent to colonize us all. Blacks didn't sell their own people, it was the whites who did, because they had all the guns and firepower to cause wars between various tribes and pick up prisoners of wars and encourage Africans to war against each other. If a Black African see me as his enemy, by God, he is not welcome to my home, until he changes that perception. Seek your ancestors and learn the truth. Each and everyone of them where grabbing at the sands of the seashores and stuffing them inside their mouths, just to have that piece of motherland inside of them before they are taken away forever.
I never went but, I sent my daughter for 30 days with her college professor and other students. She came back a totally different person; a beautiful person. 😍

By the time black Americans overcame their hatred of all things Africa and decide to visit, they will have to rent from Chinese and other groups who have been buying Africa at an alarming rate. Black Americans would be squatters in Africa if they ever overcome their bias and land there. POWERFUL CORPORATIONS AND WHOLE COUNTRIES are buying the continent: China, Saudi Arabia and other oil rich nations, rich white Americans and American Corporations etc... Black American will arrive last, and try their ''civil rights movement thing'' on lands legitimately purchased by these other groups, even if at very low prices. Squatting will be the only option left by then, but their private security services might not be so friendly.

That's not your place to say, dear. Which why I see you haven't said the same about Brazilians needing to travel outside of Brazil. Or Haitians, or Dominicans. Or even Africans of various countries, whose known to be xenophobic. Because you know that shit would be out of pocket. Like with these two ladies, traveling to African is a voluntary choice. Not some kind of mandatory demand. So stay in your place.
@madcoki You are not hebrews. Tuaregs lived next to Mandinkas and Dyluas and Bambara in Senegal and Mali. No Jewish people. Senegal is an area that endured ruling from several African muslim Empires such as the The Mali Empire 11-13 th century and the Songhai Empire after that.

its all love out here in Africa because we believe " home is where you belong not where your clothes are"( African proverb). when black-Americans visit the motherland it means a lot to us the younger generation because we need to reconnect and understand we are all from the same ancestors and mostly important you should know that AFRICA is for all black people. welcome home sister.

People showing off their native dress. love it I am from Ghana and grew up there but love this. my homeland has been so saturated by the west to the point Ghanaians don't know who they are. Senegal keep it up stay pure. These are hard humble working men. love their energy and spirit

Thanks for posting this. Would like to thank the Sista in red t-shirt wearing Bahamas hat on way to Ghoree Island. My Bahamian born Mom saw that, you were carrying us too! I was born in NYC. This video is everything. Have met so many men named Musa here. I love my people on both sides of the ocean!

Wow I think black panther made a big impact on a lot of people
By the time black Americans overcame their hatred of all things Africa and decide to visit, they will have to rent from Chinese and other groups who have been buying Africa at an alarming rate.
Rose Vieira Wow 😮 I’m frustrated now
Yes. But this was posted, & thus occurred BEFORE Black Panther was released.

Considering black Americans do take vacation trips to Africa, why would they hate Africa? What country are you from?
