Hello Benita! 😀 Refreshing content - as a child, I loved rearranging my bedroom, my mom was so helpful and encouraged me to arrange it the way I liked it and choose colors I liked - I always felt so content and happy in my room, reading or listening to music. I do move our plants around (I like to give them equal sun exposure - kind of like not favoring a child - equal love for all of them❤). I really wish I could sew - this always seems like such a cost-effective way to change anything in your home. I should take a class 😀 For people who find it easy to sew, I am so envious - that hasn't been my experience. Decluttering - this is my number one favorite way to refresh - I just need to keep reminding myself not to repurchase. 😃 Bonus looks so happy, until your next video enjoy your week!🌸🌺🌸

I was lucky to be able to live in all three bedrooms in my parents house. I started as a kid in the smallest one. Then I switched to the parents bedroom when my parents decided to sleep separate because my Dad was a snorer and when they decided to sleep in their bedroom again, I moved to the third bedroom which stayed my room even when I moved out and just visited my parents. It was always an adventure to be able to plan everything. To this day I draw a plan of my room on paper and cut out my furniture in the right scale and move them around to find the best place for them. 😉

Very nice video, Benita. I, too, rearranged the bedroom as a teenager, even opting to rid of a bed frame to sleep on a mattress on the floor, used fruit crates for a dresser, collaged posters and pages out of periodicals Rolling Stone and Cream and put them on my walls, cut flowers from my backyard and put them in glassware we used to get when filling up at the gas station and whatever cool stuff I could take home from the record store where I worked part time. How wonderful ideas dearest Benita!! So simple yet so refreshing for spring and summer time🌼🌞I agree with trying to move furniture or things that we take their first place for granted anywhere possible in our home ...the result always makes us feel so creative!! I loved the idea of the sofa sheet- covers and how easily you made them, your daffodils in the vase (one of my favourite flowers), Bonus's favourite place and Minnie's curiosity while stretching (they are so adorable😹😺😻)

How talented you are Benita to be able to make the slip over cover for your sofa and without a pattern! I envy you as I cannot even sew a button onto a shirt without it looking messy or coming off. 🙃

Your home is my literal dream. Unfortunatly I live with a maximalist (I love him dearly!) But I know he loves his decorations, colours and knick-knacks
What I cant get a hold of is our home Office (just I work there) it becomes a Dumping ground when things get messy and the Layout of the room forces me to face the desk to the Wall...
I will try your advice though!

The best is to stop all papers coming in so move over to digital banking, refuse all catalogs, read newspapers online etc.

First off I love the cotton wash cloth under the furniture tip, I get so fed up watching people in property videos just dragging furniture around wooden or laminate floors with no protection and alot of them are encouraging their viewers to watch them for interior design tips and advice!!!!

Thanks for bringing me back my childhood days where I did the same in rearranging the furniture. I cannot move my bed now but get a change of scenery by spending my weekend sleeping in a spare room, that really brought us new energy and break up our work vs weekend during pandemic/WFH days. I love your pillow case on the sofa, please share where to get them!
