My husband always says “you change or move everything so frequently “ and your video just reminded me that I’ve been doing this since I was a kid. It’s so fun!!

It’s funny how many of us loved to rearrange our rooms as teenagers! I did this it as well a number of times over the years. It always seems to bring a fresh new feeling to the room.
My love of interior design also started with rearranging my bedroom and continues today as I regularly move things to change the energy of the room. Thank you for the great video inspo!
Love how kitty comes in so nonchalantly! A bit of excitement in an otherwise soothing video! Will she (?) or won't she walk across the painting? The back leg stretch like 'oh don't mind me! I was holding my breath! 😊
I used to change my furniture around in my bedroom every few months as a teen. It made my mother crazy, lol. I never saw such an easy way to make a slip cover. Brilliant!
Hello Benita! 😀 Refreshing content - as a child, I loved rearranging my bedroom, my mom was so helpful and encouraged me to arrange it the way I liked it and choose colors I liked - I always felt so content and happy in my room, reading or listening to music. I do move our plants around (I like to give them equal sun exposure - kind of like not favoring a child - equal love for all of them❤). I really wish I could sew - this always seems like such a cost-effective way to change anything in your home. I should take a class 😀 For people who find it easy to sew, I am so envious - that hasn't been my experience. Decluttering - this is my number one favorite way to refresh - I just need to keep reminding myself not to repurchase. 😃 Bonus looks so happy, until your next video enjoy your week!🌸🌺🌸

Busy adding wool textures to my home to make it cosy for winter in New Zealand. We don't get snow and it's not too cold but the endless wet days call for warm textures and colours.
Your slipcover turned out amazing! I have an ottoman that needs a slipcover and have gotten as far as purchasing fabric. You have given me confidence that I can do it. I wish I could move furniture but am pretty restricted because of windows and door placement, and space limitations. It was my favorite thing as a kid to move my bedroom around!
I was lucky to be able to live in all three bedrooms in my parents house. I started as a kid in the smallest one. Then I switched to the parents bedroom when my parents decided to sleep separate because my Dad was a snorer and when they decided to sleep in their bedroom again, I moved to the third bedroom which stayed my room even when I moved out and just visited my parents. It was always an adventure to be able to plan everything. To this day I draw a plan of my room on paper and cut out my furniture in the right scale and move them around to find the best place for them. 😉

Very nice video, Benita. I, too, rearranged the bedroom as a teenager, even opting to rid of a bed frame to sleep on a mattress on the floor, used fruit crates for a dresser, collaged posters and pages out of periodicals Rolling Stone and Cream and put them on my walls, cut flowers from my backyard and put them in glassware we used to get when filling up at the gas station and whatever cool stuff I could take home from the record store where I worked part time. @@BenitaLarsson of course, the swivel chair..perfect. 😄
I put all types of sheets and blankets on my sofa all the time 😄😆 it was nice to see that you do it too 🥰
I’d rather not have as much to be honest it but since I can’t remove the sofa cover and have pets it’s kind of necessary 😅
yes... I have a black sofa and white haired dog 🤣 still I switch between the bedroom and the like vingroom so I don't have too much
Benita , I totally love your videos ! I’m so like you ......Love being minimal , organised ! We recently moved house and your tips have helped me enormously 😁Thank you Benita ! Have a lovely day 🌻
Loved this video! I too got my start as a child and rearranging things in my bedroom. Great reminder to shop my home
Thanks so much!
That slipcover tutorial is wonderful and thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
How talented you are Benita to be able to make the slip over cover for your sofa and without a pattern! I envy you as I cannot even sew a button onto a shirt without it looking messy or coming off. 🙃
It’s easier than you think!😊
I loved the way you featured thd sliping covers, and the whole result
🌼🙏
I have a bed along two walls but sometimes I like the pillows arranged along the lengthy side against the wall instead of at the head or foot of the bed.
Hi Benita, I loved this video. You always inspire me, I absolutely love spending time with you. Thank you. 🌷
It looks great!! It's always so exciting to see it all come together in the end - so rewarding 🥰 and somehow you feel all better 💛
Thank you so much!
How wonderful ideas dearest Benita!! So simple yet so refreshing for spring and summer time🌼🌞I agree with trying to move furniture or things that we take their first place for granted anywhere possible in our home ...the result always makes us feel so creative!! I loved the idea of the sofa sheet- covers and how easily you made them, your daffodils in the vase (one of my favourite flowers), Bonus's favourite place and Minnie's curiosity while stretching (they are so adorable😹😺😻)
Thank you so much! Mini and Bonus are the sweetest!
I really love the slipcover. ❤️❤️❤️
I love all of your ideas. You give me inspiration to live more minimalist.
I'm so happy you enjoyed them!
Love your videos Benita. This one I particularly liked as I do the same and like you I feel great when I have rearranged my furniture. It is like buying new without the cost. I also love your DITL videos. Would love to see one of those again soon. Thank you.
I’m so happy you enjoy my videos!
Your style inspires me . What is the thing you removed from covering the black box and your cat enjoyed sitting on? And where did you get it?
I made the cover from some placemats. You can see a little bit how in this video: ua-cam.com/video/_7KHGB0UJXU/v-deo.html
You are a breath of fresh air Benita, I love watching your videos 😍🥰 thank you
Thank you so much for watching them!
Love the idea of the slipcover change !!! 🌷
I love all the changes and the super idea for the sofa 👏👏. Thank you Benita 🌻!
What a nice little refresh 😊. The slipcover is lovely.
Benita, this video is great, as usual, but that part showing Mini walking past you and stretching her legs, that is sublime 😍
Thank you for inspiring us 🙏❤️
