@@photographyadventuresbygraciel Great shots. I am no "birder" but I know a few. We have a city lot near a preserve, a big preserve, so we see all kinds of unusual birds that I have to look up. lol. Thanks for sharing your work on YT. I enjoy it.

I got a sense these birds nests were at ground level, they must be incredibly vulnerable to predators. Introduced pests like rats, stoats, weasels and feral cats are doing untold damage to NZ’s ground dwelling native birds, the Kiwi for example. Interesting channel :)
Thank you! The Eastern Bluebird nests mostly in our homemade birdhouses but we have several species of birds that nest on the ground including Bob WhIte Quail and Mourning Doves! Here in the United States we mostly have pretty much every pest you described except for stoats, including raccoons, opossums, snakes and many more! Thanks for commenting and I just subscribed to your channel!
The are cavity nester meaning that their home is an old woodpecker hole or man- made houses which I have in country Arkansas. They love H2o moreso than the other songbirds and I got lots of them.I supply dried mealworms also.
I havent seen any bluebirds for twenty plus years…but last week I watched while a male bluebird built a nest in the bluebird house …..and a week later….today actually I saw him with a female on the wire out back…..I live in west michigan and the house is on the edge of my wooded yard…..not an open field or anything….. so im just surprised I have a pair nesting in the box as its wooded…and that its the first bluebirds ive seen in so many years on top of that and im a big bird person….u know..i know many of the birds just by hearing them so way above the avg person…..its not like I just didnt notice is my point and here they are!😁😁😁😁😁 im just really excited!
I had one of these follow my truck today, land on the side mirrors and the side window over and over, and knocking its beak on the closed window. Followed my vehicle like 300ft and did it again.

Staying mostly monogamous doesn't work to well for humans.
