    I used to drive from Fruita to Powderhorn every day in winter. Loved it!

    any water issues? as in restrictions ? have the fires caused any air quality issues? does grand junction have an inversion in the winter? this area looks good on paper but I need to narrow down my list of desired areas to actually visit .

      No water issues here. No Air Quality issues either. A couple of summers ago the nearby Pine Creek fire did cause some issues but it was literally 10 miles away. We will, on occasion, experience a inversion but the American Lung Association still ranks us as the #1 area for minimal air particle pollution. Hope that helps!

    Robert,my wife and I will be moving from Colorado Springs to GJ (Emerald Ridge Estates) in June. I have watched quite a few videos and I haven’t heard you comment on this subdivision. I know this is a new area in the north. Curious on your thoughts. Thanks for your time covering the GJ area.

      Great, new North area with some elbow room. The difficulty lately has been just getting one of the 6 approved Builders to return a phone call. The latest is that you're looking at 1 to 1 1/2 years before you'll have a finished product. I think that's what's slowing things down there.

      Darn, that’s not comforting. I hope we don’t experience that as new homeowners.

    Dear Robert and Christie,
    my husband and I really like the Palisade area. We already watched every single video on your channel, but we're wondering if there is more to see in/around Palisade besides wineries, or lavender fields.
    • What kind of shops are in the downtown of Palisade?
    • Are there any grocery stores in Palisade? If not, where is the next one?
    • Are there any kindergartens/schools?
    • Are there any fun activities for kids?
    Unfortunately we live in Germany and we won't be able to make a trip to Colorado any time soon. So we would love to know and see EVERYTHING there is to know and see about Palisade 😃
    Thank you so much and keep making your videos, we're looking forward to watching them every week! You're awesome! 😊

      Hey there! Thank you for the kind words! 😃 Here's some more information about Palisade. www.uncovercolorado.com/towns/palisade/
      There is, in fact, a small grocery store in Palisade for your basic necessities. A bigger store would be about 10-12 minutes away. Downtown you'll find some boutique stores, restaurants, bars along with a brewery and distillery. Taylor Elementary School and Palisade High school are also in Palisade.
      It's about 3000 people but very charming and lively in the Spring and Summer!

    I’m a blue collar worker that’s looking to transfer to Grand Junction, would I be able to work with your team or is your focus on the more higher earning folks?

I’m currently 20 about to be 21 and I’m still living with my parents was sick for my childhood and I’ve had jobs in the past but I can’t seem to find what I like or understand I want to learn something or own my own business of some sort but I want a fresh start and I want to get far away from where I’m

    The area around lincoln park, CMU, Los colonias and downtown would seem the be the best are to live in...but it isnt in this video.... or did I miss it.

    • @LivinginGrandJunctionColorado
      @LivinginGrandJunctionColorado  2 роки тому +1

      "Best Area" is truly subjective as everyone has their own check boxes. There are definitely some great neighborhoods around CMU,

    Where are all the homes in the $224K range you talked about in your other video? ua-cam.com/video/Q5ustFzZHag/v-deo.html

      @LivinginGrandJunctionColorado  2 роки тому

      Even though that video is a couple of years old and we've seen insane appreciation since then.....the good news is....they're still out there! But a $224K home in 2019-2020 is now probably $350K-$360K

      You might be waiting a bit since there's no data to support a crash here. Supply versus Demand still rules the day. We'll be here though!
