I've had life long copd. Don't smoke so I'm guessing I got it from my smoking parents. We've visited many places in Colorado over the past twenty years and I have problems in Frisco but get relief in Grand Junction and Denver. Generally under 5k feet many with lung problems shouldn't experience any issues after two to three weeks. We are still looking to leave Illinois as soon as my wife called it quites.
5th generation Coloradoan now living around Black Forrest CO. Right out of school I was doing field service for western slop during the oil shale boom. My company wanted me to live in GJ and was looking at real estate back then and right after the oil shale bust. $25K homes everywhere I looked most in foreclosure and was going to buy several until I let my dad talk me out of moving. Now that GJ has fully recovered into more of a outdoors based economy I kick myself for not. Still might sell my land and go for it.
Love these videos. I lived in Colorado Springs for three years (Australian Military exchange) and fell in love with Colorado. If US Immigration would let me retire in Grand Junction, I'd be there like a shot! No chance of that though. All the best.
We sure think so! There's a good amount of retired, military vets here including Christie's Dad and Brother. We also have one of the most highly regarded VA Hospitals here.
We can tell you that Christie has been here since 1975 and I've been here for almost 20 and we've never had any issues. 🙂 As far as providing stats and such, the Division of Real Estate frowns upon that but there are a number of websites such as Neighborhood Scout. Take those stats with a grain of salt. We're a small town : )
